I think it’s because it’s Florida and these creatures probably see humans way more than any other wild animals around. I mean go anywhere where nature and people interact a lot and a good amount of animals will get close or allow you too. Maybe it’s the same thing here.

*They definitely don't have lethal venom. Whether they are venomous at all depends on how deep into the "does all lizard/snake saliva technically count as venom" rabbit hole you are willing to go.

@@theoneandonlygamingshow5101 yeah there’s some snakes you’ll notice that he avoids like cottonmouths, I’ve only once seen him pick up a cottonmouth. For the most part though he either knows how to safely handle them or knows they’re not deadly and doesn’t care if they bite

20 footer IS a legend. longest recorded was only 19 feet, no ones seen a 20 because after they reach 4 years old their growth rate significantly slows down

The swamp puppies are gators lol, you can tell the difference due to the U shaped snout, whereas Crocs have the V shape! Also crocs have teeth sticking out of their mouths both down and up, but gators only have them sticking out down. (Not tryina be rude or anything but I really like reptiles)
