so guan/scipio and ww/liu is infantry meta
@@the_noob_driverarrowfrog3317with Liu, as a standalone he doesn't do well. He's like a pakal on steroids.
His 4th skill is a 10% smite damage and 10% normal damage.
Smite damage affects only the smite damage factor.
Normal damage affects smite damage factor and normal attacks.
This means that the total skill increases the damage of smite damage factor by 20% and also adds a 10% boost to the normal attacks.
So its sort of 20% and 10%, not just 10% and 10%.

because normal damage boost... also boosts the normal (attack) damage, the little white numbers along with smite damage. smite damage boosts the damage factor from his active but not normal attack. one is derivative while the other is not.
If you are spender yes, If you are low spend and f2p go max comand cavs, you may just hit and run behind the spender march😅😊. You might be fun play cavs better Mobility and good left the open field when we lost murderball.
I am entering season 2 after migrating back. It has always been my objective to go cav in soc, but inf commander are currently so main stronger. I wish they released a strong cav to replace nevski.

I already got scipio max, ofc and I’m low on GH, only 365 ish, so I might end up still running scipio/Liu for a while, but if testing proves that scipio/Liu is on par or slightly sub par for ball fights as Liu/WW then I’ll probably start on another march as I only have one atm
I do personally think there's going to be significant boost in trades once wallace releases to pair with liu considering the synergy, but scipio/liu will still be a very solid march, while if you wanted to, you could theoretically run 2 inf marches in lc/wallace, and have scipio available for your second march. Scipio pairs well with so many different commanders, probably the most versatile commander in the game. Good choice.
@@GrowmietheGreenhow can you have better trades with one single vs 3 AOE skill dmg and 3 AOE 30% health debuff. Hype for this com is crazy
@@harisbesirovic2656 Because the rage reduction has no cooldown (hitting OR being hit) and mighty shield stacks with normal shields like alex. You can get splashed with 5 aoes and lose 225 rage instantly, can't do your Aoes if you can't even get your rage to cap. You can also lose the rage reduction by putting Lui primary, and then the 40% damage increase from WW will proc on lui ches AoE instead of WW single target which is huge, at least for small skirmishes or 5v5 / 7v7 duels.
Talent Tree. "To the bitter End". Its in the Attack Tree already and it call's "effortless". You can test it and you will find out that you loose it after a Fight. Effortless has higher stats and works on white dmg and affect with this smite and skill dmg. "to the bitter end" is a downgrade.
Normal damage buffs smite and smite does but the smite buff wont buff normal so in theory wallace liu wint be doing the same normal damage levels as like atilla takeda and have skills for more which would be broken atleast thats my theory
i will still use alexander the great. i'm too poor to invest on this commander haha. i'm currently working on huo

I just don’t see it. No AOE, no debuff, no stats (little bit of health/attack). I don’t see it performing that well in the field being single target honestly. Like Sargon, on paper or a duel he’s great but in the field it’ll have to be WAY better than Alex to justify most people investing

The shield is definitely conditional with the dispel, if there's no dispel there's no shield.
They should definitely reword the skill then
I think i agree with 68busdrivers video though...
The 10 second cooldowns are pretty bad and the smite tree doesn't seem that great. Liu Che might need to be primary if paired with Wallace.
But testing will decided all of that.
If lc will still be primary. Then ill still go lc alex and maybe william gorgo.
Hope someone test him too with other commanders

I dnt think william wallace&lui che is gonna be that much different than lui&alex. To invest william wallace will require 690 gold heads! The thing is how much lui&william wallece pair is better than free lui&alex pair? If it is only 10-11k better in a full march that is about %5 better so if that is the case I won't invest ww but will keep my gh's to invest another cava march but if we&lui is 20k or plus better than lui&alex than I would invest in ww.

@dgips455 both get mighty shield, gorgo already sucks to swarm the extra 900 damage factor will make extra prickly will be tanky and prickly the health on Wallace is small but added in with gorgos ........this i think will be the way
@HaoLE-hu4wm I have ran 3 inf marches for a while now possibly 4 when it's time to swarm ( Tariq sargon for swarming)
We need to see rally maybe it's skill and pairs w Scipio or just keep running guan

@JeanBertinRomain infantry tree also has a slow, though it's nothing crazy. I only put 1 point into it on my lc though, his skill slow is super sweet enough, though you could argue ditching fight to the death and slap 3 more points into it, and drill marches with an extra 20% march speed reduction because of lc extra basic attacks. I think that would leave you an extra point that you could throw into elite soldiers.
Smite tree is dope, but would be better if it was aoe commander. With Wallace primary, you lose the 40% dmg increase to LC's active skill. The rage reduction isn't worth losing that much boost imo

4 skill is very weak and expertise is one of the worst in last couple years, 5551 is prob 90+% of his value. Still, scipio p is def better than this com.
2. Skill is mehh... 4 Skill is meh.... Alex's Shield give a 30% damage increase on 3 Enemy Troops for 4 second's and this is a 100% chance. So the 40% with WW is nothing big.
You're straight on crack if you think Alex is better than Wallace
meta inf will be 1 skill damage commander (guan/scipio) and 1 smite damage commander which is (wallace/liu).
whoever splitting wallace and Liu tbh it just bad idea .. imagine using wedge on wallace 😂😂. So to be logic using 1 arch(wallace/liu) and 1 wedge (guan/scipio) armament is the way to go
I'm honestly super curious is maybe lc should be the primary 🤔 only because of the mechanics of his 3rd skill. There's a HUGE chance that lc active skill procs that 40% damage bonus, and being he's a 5 target aoe commander, I feel like that 40% across his active skill would be INSANE in the mb. I can't wait to test 😁😁😁

Walles will not be meta. No AOE, No Defence, no buff or debuff and nothing exciting in that tallent tree.
If U Have money U can spend. Won't make much difference replacing Alex.
