You should have chosen Aeroline which is a much better choice.. It starts from Maritime Square (near vivo city, harbour front). They serve drinks/snacks and the R&R (pit stop!) is much better also. It stops in front of Corus Hotel, right smack in the middle of KL. Going back, you can wait for the bus in the lounge of the hotel!
@@CalamityTravels If you haven't booked a return ticket, you could book it at corus hotel and in the waiting area they serve free refreshments. Aeroline is my first choice when I travel to KL. I think the earliest departure is 8am so you should arrive between 1 and 2pm 😀 Oh, they compare it like flying "business class" but by executive bus!!
Berjaya Times Square. Haha. Locals usually refer to it as just Times Square. I was confused because locals refer Bandar Tasik Selatan (t/l: South Lake City) as BTS. Why was it confusing? Because TBS is in BTS! Haha. Even their 'tagline' is TBSBTS. Btw, TBS stands for Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (t/l: Southern Intergrated Terminal).

Thanks for sharing. Wondered what it would be like to take bus between SG and KL. I last did that trip on a bus back in 1991 and I think there's a lot more options than back then :) Keep sharing and exploring.
Your trip did remind me my previous along trip at the year of 2008, Kuala Lumpur - Singapore just to purchase something antique. Spend 7 hours in bus, then another 3 hours plus 1/2 hour checking by police officer (cause I asked question in the police station lol) and back to causeway to the Johor Baharu town exactly on 12am 😅. You don’t have to worry much on your baggage if you don’t bring illegal drugs, else the K9 squad of man’s best friend will be chasing you instead.
@@CalamityTravels I lived in KL, we took the Friday night train to Singapore and the Sunday night train to return to KL after a weekend in Singapore. No aircon in “Ekonomi” class!!
I remember arriving in Singapore after taking the train down from KL in 1977. They use to walk you past these caged German shepherd dogs which were meant drugs dogs - by they seemed to growl at everyone. Singapore officials use to turn you away at the causeway border and tell you your hair was too long and to go get a haircut.
Aeroline / Transtar, both are what, per personal opinion, the best coach service providers between Singapore and West Malaysia. I'm sorry, but personally, have tried several others, and found them simply fairly priced by mileage.

The seats were comfortable but the service was poor, especially for the seniors. Do not expect the drivers to load or unload lugguages from the bus. You have to help yourself. I just came back from KL and the bus took 8hours to reach SG. Driver took his sweet time and just sat in the bus at every stop. I saw one elderly struggled to load the wheelchair fortunately, she made it. Wi-fi though provided, worked intermittently. No food and drink allowed on board. Frankly, it is my first time taking kkkl and will be my last time.
Oh I’m so sorry you had such an unpleasant journey, and thank you for the update for KKKL! It really does suck when the care isn’t put into the service of travel, it can be quite a hit or miss; sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you really don’t. I think the timings and durations always have to be taken with a pinch of salt in most places around the world (Asia specifically) But the elderly person not being helped, is sadly unkind. Lengthy bus journeys suck at the best of times but when you’re not expecting it and also not allowed snacks etc (we always need some snacks stashed in our bags for emergency ‘hangry’ moments 😉) - but it can really change your experience entirely. We really hope the rest of your trip went smoother and you could rest at your destination! Thanks for your comment and for watching! ☺️ N xx
