Ingredients:
- Coconut Oil: 4 tablespoons
- Vitamin E Oil: 3 teaspoons
- Lip Gloss Base: 4.5oz (scale) Is equal to about 1 Cup 1/2
- Any kind of mica pigment or cosmetic glitter of your choosing
- Flavoring Oil: about 7-10 drops

Thank you so much. Finally....someone who will happily share a recipe and more importantly, someone who weighs the ingredients. It's so kind of you to share a video showing the amounts. I understand that businesses won't share everything. I totally respect their decision to not share trade secrets. However, when you're new to making lip gloss, watching videos where someone just squeezes a random amount into a bowl - pouring an unmeasured amount of oil into the mix...it doesn't give you a starting point. I've seen some blog posts - showing recipe ideas, but it's so much better to watch someone making it. Liked and subscribed x

hey love, you can use whatever oil you prefer. yes you would still use 4 tablespoons to get the same consistency

And secondly,do you use preservatives? Is there a need for them?
Hey love, the versagel is from tkb trading and the size I was using in the video is 3.5lbs. Also you don’t have to put a preservative in your lip gloss, there’s not really a need for it but it would be up to you if you would like to use one

You’re welcome! and I would say between 6ml-10ml is a normal lipgloss tube. But there’s lipgloss tubes bigger than that, they are usually squeeze tubes

yes it’s still a clear lipgloss just sparkly
Would it be easier to to refill it by sucking it thru the tube from the bowl
yes it would be easier that way but I don’t do it because you will get air bubbles in the tube
What size is that squeeze tube organizer and wand tubes
Squeeze tubes are 10ml and the wand tubes are 6ml

Hi love, can you explain a little more? like when you go to use your lipgloss is it not grabbing enough product from the tube? If I’m reading that correctly, if may be the type of lipgloss wand/tube you are using

I was insured to make my own lip gloss by watching videos like your but I have some issues
1. I can’t seem to get most of the product into the tubes , I use a syringe and one of those skinny tube that comes in science kits is there anything else that could help get all the product into the tube.
2. I can’t seem to find the exact amount to put into the tubes am I measuring it wrong
Any advice on these things to help me improve on my new hobby
Hey love, so to be transparent with you, putting lipgloss into the syringe can be very difficult at times. Unfortunately every drop isn’t always going to make the cut. And when you are filling your tubes, depending on the tube there should be a line or just a cut off right before the very top and that’s where you would stop filling bc you have to leave room for the stopper. If you notice in the video when filling my tubes I don’t fill it to the top If there isn’t enough room for the stopper, unfortunately when putting on the top and then twisting it on…your stopper will pop up bc there was no room for it from extra lipgloss being put in the tube and then you will have a mess on your hands. It happens so don’t feel frustrated or upset if it does. It’s a learning experience, the more you do it the better you will get.
What oil do you use
Coconut Oil and Vitamin E Oil
Can I replace the vitamin E oil with castor oil?
Hi love, yes you can use any natural oil of your liking. That’s just one that I love to use
Hey I have a question actually i made gloss and used cosmetic grade glitter but I don’t why the glitter is getting separated even the consistency of gloss is not that thin. Can u please help me?
Hey, sometimes you have to use a good amount of glitter. That has definitely happened to me when I first started making lip gloss. I will be up loading a new lip gloss video on this Monday coming, so I will explain and show a lot more in that area. Also when did the glitter start to separate? like hours after making, days after making, weeks after making or months after making?

hii, so because I split this recipe between the squeeze tubes and wand tubes, I would say this recipe would make about 12 to 18 tubes in the 10ml if I would just filled the squeeze tubes alone

What about glycerin
yes glycerin is good to use in lipgloss as well. I haven’t used it in my lip glosses yet but I know some people that do. It just has to be mixed in your formula really well so it doesn’t separate itself from the gloss
its not really time consuming depends on the size of your pipe/syringe but it can be made fast and easy without making a messs
yeah that’s true but I won’t be using that method anymore bc I’ll have a lip gloss piping machine coming in soon

Just search “lip gloss filling machine” on Amazon and different brands will pop up. And sorry to hear that, you’re the only one that’s mentioned that… I was sick when I did my voice over for this video so that’s probably why it might be hard for you to hear me.
