The Caballus Series is a Syntacs Final Adventure in Ark Survival Evolved before making the switch over to ARK Survival Ascended later this year. In this series Syntac will tame, breed and mutate any creature he can get his hands on from the roster of mods such as Paleo ARK, ARK Additons and Animals of Atlas.

It might just be on console but i just make top teir kibble none of the others because they will all use it. I jist steal some deinonychus eggs or tame low level yutyrannus and set up a vegie farm asap. Would save making and carrying all the kibbles if it works on p.c aswell
Also the reason the griffins dammage is white is because wild griffins cant harm wild creatures so their dammage is set differently.
Ur old Griffin was called Cobalt due to the navy blue colors it had

Honestly, the fact that griffins aren’t breedable is so sad, because they are so cool, and deserve to be loved, but now have been completely forgotten
This is why I love modding. Kraken's Better Dinos changes and fixes a bunch of creatures, including making creatures like Griffins and Karkinos breedable. It also fixes the glitchy jittery turning animation of wild and unridden Griffins.

In Caballus, the "regular" Griffins ARE breedable, no eggs, it's a live birth.
In ark mobile they are breed able without hacks or mods🙄

For whatever it's worth, I like to name my Griffins after different kinds of storm/weather phenomena . . . Gale, Squall, Derecho, Downburst, etc.
I know you said this is your 'final adventure' on Ark but I would love to see you play on Nekatus' new map Svartalfheim! It's a smaller map but it's no-flyers and has some interesting new enemies and mechanics, I think you would really enjoy it

There's a mod called Classic Flyers that allows speed leveling on all flyers in the game, it also allows SOME flyers to exist on Svartelfheim, and no, it doesn't break the map either. The map design of Svartelfheim with deliberately restrictive routes through swamps, Deinonychus breeding grounds, Rex/Carno/Allo territories, and other bad areas is just dumb, especially early game when all that does is cost you deaths over and over again and makes you want to never play the map again. Plus, there's already gliders in the map, like Maewings and Rock Drakes so it's not like there aren't other ways to "fly" around the map already built into it.

YESSSSSSS! Syntac has another creature that is not completely blue. The green is so refreshing. Kinda feeling the name Quick force from that old cartoon, monsuno.
Heres a name suggestion for the griffin: Xionius (pronounced zye-own-ee-us if its a struggle) hopefully this is a good name suggestion. This sure was one hell of a surprise. Felt really nostalgic watching you tame one of these. Alright peace brother have yourself a good one

If I remember, the 180 trend started with Ragnarok since I believe its default was 180 max, so that kinda became the norm that many maps and servers used.

FYI: if you put kibble and their normal food (meed or berries) while taming, when they wake up hungry, they will eat the normal food first. No wasted kibble and no wasted time checking how many they need.

Actually normal griffins have baby forms. If they had genders they could breed. You can check in the game with this command:
1. Look at the griffin
2. Type this command: SetBabyAge 0
3. enter

If you did not know, there are loot caves around the map. The loot caves have stuff like spino sails and some other things you get from killing dinos. There is one on the right of your base. In a mountain. It looks like a ruin.

there were tons of shimmer horses in the video and cave where you tamed the karkinos. they might've been shimmer unicorns but they were shimmer for sure.

That griffin looks like he's all jacked up on mountain dew, so my vote is Ricky Bobby.
Maybe not great for all your griffin's in future series but I think 'Clover' would be a nice name for this one. Since it was a lucky find!
I think what happens with the hit registration on the nets is that the creature's position is calculated as if it were still standing up. So if it appears to be laying on its left side, the hit box is actually to the creature's right side of where it appears to be. You seem to have the most luck getting successful hits when you shoot side-to-side across the shoulders/wings of the creature, wherever it lays.
I know its a bit cheesy but Peter Griffin is always a classic lol

The way I use Griffons is to fly directly above my target, look straight down, do the swoop attack for massive damage and then immediately fly backwards up into the air until you are just high enough to do another swooping attack. Rinse and repeat.
The more I find out about how this map makes you progress, the more it makes me wanna play on this map with the Paleo mod and stuff lol

Griffins are my absolutely favorite ark creature and those ones are so so pretty!
As for names, my griffins are called Kephallenia, Icarus, Highwing as well as my two event griffins Valentino (red) and Holiday (in christmas colors^^).
I can speak from experience that on our private servers we play the game on, dad and I play with Max lvl 180 because you do. We went like "Max lvl 180 is for a reason, ig. Let's do it"
Also the griffins gestating is likely not just because it makes sense. There won't be a model for the egg so it is easier to make the tame gestate. S+ Mutator allow dinos who normally can't breed to do so, and that mentions every Dino will be a gestate breed.

There is a cave somewhere along the edge of the Lake of Failed Baryonx Tame you may find shimmering unicorns. You have run close to it many times without noticing it
With regards to the Megatheriums there is an Artifact cave near the cave from the last caving video with tamable R-Megatheriums

I think the girffon should be named Dolos or Dolus after the greek god of cunning deception, craftiness, and treachery after seeing what happened in the cave it makes sense.
