I don't drink or smoke, nor have had any recreational drugs on my life, but the way he got all over that (wish I know was luck, I admit) and end up being sucessful, kind of makes me think that people could «do it» too if they went into that road... I know it is a disgrace, drugs, alcoholism, etc., but there is a «glow» in his speach, I don't know, and I know that I'm just being stupid feeling this... Had friends that died due to drugs...
mguerra79 Well... I've seen my fair share of recreational drugs. It's not extremely taboo here in the Netherlands and I felt free to experiment with various types that seem widely available. I have many friends that have done a similar road and are still pretty successful in live. Sure, drugs and alcohol destroy a shitload of lives, way too many. But as long as you're well educated about the destructive abilities...and keep good track of eachother, you can sure be having fun and be successful in live. I'm in no way condoning by the way...it can still destroy your future.
Yes, I know plenty of people here in Portugal, many friends, that consumed hard drugs. Some died (one of them killed himself, throwing himself from a tall building), several had huge comas in hospitals from drugs, and several had alcohol coma, from alcohol... But I believe, from what I've seeing from Craig, that he was in a very steep road, very profund pit-hole... And the way he recovered, seems «easy», «doable», even «glamourous»... And I know it is not. Anyway, well... I'm a very big fan of him, of course! Thanks for this chat, mate!

I was a year into a second shift factory job making industrial compressors. We got out at midnight. I missed these shows because booze and women were too important to go home early. I was living above a bar and living like a gd king. A fifth of jack every 3 days and as many gals as i could get to come up and smoke a j or a line. Now im 46. No children with a broken back. I fd up somewhere. Cautionary tale for some and hero status for others. If you are 20 it should be cautionary...dont party your life away your 40s will be lonely. Find a good gal and have as many kids as you can. That family will be worth 100 X your 401K. Dogs aren't children they cannot replace kids...good luck anyway you go.
