    Congratulations on your first year, well done. Found you as a result of watching Cade Media with Jimmy and Emily (and Francis). I will check out your site as looking at the designs in this video they look great. All the best for your future plans. Only bit of advice is don’t take on too much, better to do a few things well than over commit yourself. All the best from Tasmania, Australia 🇦🇺

    Interesting view behind-the-scenes.
    Good cycling gear that that doesn't break the bank is a godsend.

    If I owned Atticus, I would make a thermal jersey where you can unzip on both sides to allow better wicking just like you get in Castilli Perfetto jacket. It’s so effective in keeping you dry.

    • @AttacusCc
      @AttacusCc  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Interesting concept, it's a hard balance to have something that is warm but comfortable when you are pushing big watts! I have thought about making the side panels out of non-thermal material to allow for better ventilation so will definitely explore this! Anyone else want this?

      @@AttacusCcis it possible to extend some of that into the back area without compromising on anything else?

    I can say with some level of confidence that I've used bib shorts from multiple premium brands and none of them come close to the comfort I get from Attacus. You've got a brilliant brand to continue to shape, and as you've uncovered in your journey so far, it's a bit of a wild ride out there for ecom and retail at the moment. What I can say as a customer and someone who works for another clothing brand, hang in there and stick to your principles. Don't undersell yourself and your product ever, we all get imposter syndrome but that doesn't define us. Take care and keep going, and thank you for continuing on with Attacus.
    In answering your question, as someone who works for a £120m clothing brand, make sure that everything you do as much as you can is measurable. When you're investing either in R&D, or in your ecom model or your campaigns, make sure you have data to make really great decisions. From the perspective of a mad cyclist, I'd say aero socks seem to be the words of the moment, maybe worth looking how you guys can bring an interesting spin to that? Just keep running with your quality kit and we will always love you for it❤

    Although, you finished your insulated gilet, I prefer gilets with reach through openings instead of back pockets, so you don't have to move your stuff from gilet pockets to jersey pockets, if you want to take off the gilet. I think it's especially helpful on non insulated gilets, because it's easier to reach through the openings with short finger or thin full finger gloves. Additionally, you have an extra selling point, because only a few brand do these.

    Hi Dan. great video I hadn't really heard of the brand until today, maybe seen it around but never took any notice. I think making a video like this is great as it got my attention as it gives an insight into you and where it came from. I spent 10 years working with various cycle apparel brands and I know how hard it is to get cyclist to move away from certain brands that frankly are overpriced and have the marketing budget to pull the wool over the customers eyes.
    I wish you all the luck in the world and I'll keep an eye on how you get on.

    And possibly a Belgium style water proof peaked cap with ear protection for winter
    Keep up the good work 👍

    Excellent video and update, you took a big leap of faith buying the business. the kit is great especially the Cruiser jerseys which fit me perfectly. the designs are different and stand out from the dull same old rapha jerseys you see. I dpn't know why people pay £200 plus for Rapha, Maap or PAS etc, Looking forward to the bib restock and I will keep loyal and buy more in 2025.

    Proud to wear the Attacus USA jersey designed by Francis Cade on rides here in Washington, D.C. "No rules, just ride" is a great slogan and happy to follow on from the Jimmi + Emily days. One request: keep Attacus at a reasonable price point. I wear mostly The Black Bibs for kit because they offer quality stuff at reasonable price. That's what I hope you can keep doing. I can't afford the Rapha or Pas Normal type stuff.

    Great behind the scenes. You’ve taken a risk and it’s paying off. The kit is great and I’ve bought way more from you than I should have 😅 saying that, I’d rather pay a smaller brand for quality kit than go to a larger brand. Don’t know how you’re doing this with kids too! Well done 👏

    Congrats On The Success In 2024 And All The Best During 2025 - Something That I Would Love To See On The Back Of A Jerseys , Reflective Stripping Of Some Sort - I Only Mention This Because I Have A Red Flashing Light That I Have Attached To The Back Of My Helmet Strap - I Purposely Wear Light Colored Tops As That Shines The Red Light Potentially Across My Whole Back - Yes , Even During Daylight Hours
    Happy Holidaze ,
    Cheers

    I'm still waiting on someone to release a jersey for zone 2 training with a big "Zone 2" and a tagline like "leave me alone, I'm in the zone" or something on the back of it. Good luck with 2025 :)

    Had a look at your site I am impressed with the larger sizes I struggle to get clothing for the bigger lad :) but I see your 3xl really is a 3xl unlike other brands I won't name them but a 3xl is more like a medium, this is a great selling point because some of these so called "bigger fitting" brands charge the earth so that for me is something you should be promoting next time I need to replace something I will definitely take a look at your site. Also get yourself a good content plan nowadays on socials you need to be hitting youtube weekly and tiktok and insta daily.

    • @uranusjr
      @uranusjr 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I feel it’s not just sizing, but the entire cut is designed for “normal people” instead of super skinny pro cyclists. I’m on the opposite of the specturm (160cm male) and have always struggled with jersey length; the ones I can fit in are always too long. With Attacus I fit into an XS for the first time and it’s awesome.

    • @AttacusCc
      @AttacusCc  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes I've struggled to keep on top of socials the last few month in all honesty but we have a solid plan for next year and bringing people on board to help.

    Hi Dan mate first I want to say congratulations on everything you guys have overcome in your first year. I wish you guys much success
    If I would own the company I’d probably do the following:
    So I am a cyclist and a photographer who specialises in outdoors sports and activities and I’m aware how expensive a campaign for a new product can be.
    I’ve picked that you guys didn’t get the chance to get your content for the winter kit on time
    How about if you use social media to do that for you.
    There’s loads of cyclists nowadays that can take good images and would be happy to do it for a free kit which I believe would cost less than a whole campaign
    If you can create a guideline that they can follow that would save you money on hiring photographers and models eventually and have your content on time
    Hope that makes sense and wish you good luck guys

      Yes this is a really good idea and something we have been trying to build over time and hopefully get more people on board moving forward. Anyone that has a wants to be involved in this reach out to us on instagram and we can have a chat but of course the fit needs to be right as we only order small batches so can't give too much out each time!
