About the zipper,... most keep both zippers at the very top and zip one side much farther than the other side so you aren't zipping all the way around with one. Not sure why you are choosing to do it that way. I like the bigger PM Alma's myself, my smaller bag is a speedy bandoliere. My needs are met with those as the more everyday bags. I just wish speedy's had those feet to keep it from the extra wear and tear. I agree with you 100% that a good bag has to be functional for YOU and how YOU handle them.
We had the opposite experience. I hated everything about the Givenchy Antigona and sold it after only 5 months. I actually get upset just thinking about it. I don’t even want to buy another bag from the brand. My LV Alma BB is one of my holy grail bags. I love it so much. It’s top 3 in my collection. The one thing I will say for both bags is I do not think either of them are good for crossbody. The Antigona is too bulky, I scratched banged it up wearing it crossbody. My Alma BB has never, ever been worn that way. It’s top handle carry only.
We all have different lifestyles and tastes so you get what works for you. I have the exact bag and love it. No problems with the zipper or capacity. The only thing I don't like is that the strap is non adjustable and can only be worn crossbody. When I wear it crossbody, because the base is hard and wide, it tends to stick out. I wish LV provided the same adjustable strap as the speedy 25 bando or neo noe.

You have completely explained why I have never bought an Alma BB, the badly designed shoulder strap attachment, which also pulls the handles up asymmetrically. The Fendi Boston bag strap is so much better designed.

I feel like I'm wrestling with that darn bag. It's cute but the zipper eats my hand when I have to rummage in there. Lol. It's a super structured bag which makes it sooo stiff.😅

I was pining over a Pochette Accessoires for the longest time because of its popularity and versatility. However, once purchased it was very underwhelming. It felt thin and like plastic(like you mentioned). Hope you found another bag that captured your heart!

You're doing too much!.... The zippers are supposed to meet in the middle. NOT be zipped all the way to the end. Off the bat, you're not using it properly. I have the MM size in that bag & it is awesome!!! You sound wild ... you should educate yourself prior to purchasing.
I love the Alma bb. I keep both of the zippers on top (no lock) and unzip that way (side to side) Super easy. I have 5 of them.

There are two zippers and what I do is zip each of them up to the top so they meet at the top and then you zip them both down from the top.
