What's up you guys! at 1:26 it's best to use a plastic scraper to remove the drain plug gasket to avoid any damages instead of a flathead screwdriver. It's recommended to replace the drain plug gasket but depending on the material its made from it can be reused multiple times. The one on this Toyota felt durable and I didn't want to mess with it.

I did the same thing. The gasket and plug look very well made and my replacement doesn't look as well made. I'm going to subscribe and watch more of your videos. Thanks again!

Thank you so much!! I lost my dad a little less then a year ago and he would always help me do oil changes on my 2003 Honda Accord. But since his passing, I have gotten a new car, 2020 Toyota Corolla, and I wasn’t sure if the oil changing process would be different because of the different brands. YOUR VIDEO HELPED ME CHANGE MY OIL ALONE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE MY DAD PASSED! I’m only 22 years old but my dad was big on making sure his girls knew how to take care of our vehicles, I’m so grateful that I’m still able to do that even tho he has passed thanks to you! 🙏🏼❤️

Great video! It's straight to the point and very easily understood. You are going to help people to make the oil change business go broke. 😊

Nice bro and don't wait to long on the transmission fluid 40.000 miles is perfect for this car ,still light red, not like the c-hr transmission 40.000 is a little late. dark gray

You didn't mention or show how to set the emergency parking brake and position the wheel chocks. The vehicle could roll forward or backwards and come crashing down if these things are not done. Otherwise very good video.

Can you show me exactly where you jack up the car? I can’t find my jack point on my Toyota Corolla 2020 le.

The owner's manual says that there are three bolts in the front crossmember/subframe and it should be jacked up from the centermost one. I'd be a little nervous jacking it up (even with a block of wood) in the spot that he did.

My 2020 Toyota Corolla takes 5 quarts just a FYI yours may take a little bit less because it's a hatchback mine is a xse 2.4 L. But it is a 20/20 model I put 0 /16 Mobil 1 full synthetic I had two free ones at the Toyota dealership and now I just take it to them they only charge me 20 bucks so that's not too bad but I will start doing it myself as much as stuff cost these days.

where do you get a 2.4l corolla 2020? last i checked the 2020 only come in 1.8 if you get the LE version and 2.0 if you get the SE/ XSE. and its still like that in 2023.

Jesse,I cant find anywhere how to replace the transmission fluid and coolant on toyota corolla 2020 se.Have you done that yet. Dealers or mechanics want $1500.I might pay that but i am not sure especially for the transmission fluid if they are going to put the right amount or proper transmission fluid at all.

Cool. I use a 1qt mobil 1 oil container with the bottom cut off and screw it on where the oil cap goes. I just did the 41st oil change on my 2006 Matrix with 213,500 miles and it still runs perfect.
