Two of my favorite anglers. Cant get any better. Awesome video.
A couple of GOATs
Yup
Agreed
Skinner is the GOAT. You’re one lucky guy!!
I love how much the entire fishing community (especially the northeast) respects Skinner, he really knows his $hit.
audibly said yes when I saw the title for this video
I love when you collaborate with Skinner!
A fishing trip with a legend!
You lucky dog 😁
How painful was that for you to not jig that bucktail lol
I couldn’t resist. It did get an occasional jiggle to no avail.
It was killing me watching I know that 😂
Two of the most adaptable legends. So much talent and great teachers in one boat. The dream team! Finally together ❤
Great seeing you two together. Two legends in the same boat!
Fluke have nightmares about Skinner. Good to see you two fishing together.
Aloha. Only the survivors.
Skinner and Elias!?! Man if we had Sea-Money too it would be the trifecta!
Time to team up in the keys! Great vid
You two look like you were having lots of fun together.
Look at you fishing the round bait caster. Kudos to my Calcutta 201b still going strong! Great work E!
My two favorite TH-camrs in a video 🔥 🔥. Great content being up north, glad to see it.
The collab we always needed, cheers
Legendary duo!
Great video elias to legends together fishing for stripers nothing better !!
Being closer to the bottom absolutely makes a difference. Up higher you will get hit by more smaller stripers and bluefish. I’ve never seen bucktails drifted like that before so thanks for sharing!
Loved seeing you two guys together. Thoroughly enjoyable video. Thanks guys
I have learned more from John than anyone else. Your a lucky guy to bucktail with John in my old stomping grounds
The Dynamic Duo ! I prefer the three way rig with a 2 oz mojo, cause I don’t like losing $10 buck tails . Great video, thanks.
Wow.. that is awesome to see you posted a new vid and see you with Mr. Skinner.
Yes, everyone knows John Skinner.
Good stuff.
Great video, two guys fishing old school. The legend looked to be a real good guy…..
Congratulations scoring the trip.
Cheers
Two GOATs!
Pure enjoyment! Elias, you need to workout your sea legs 🛥🎣🎣🎣🎣
Your one lucky guy to fish with Skinner!!!
John been watching since I was young 32 now Elias been watching u for a few years now both good fishermen skinner is more my style since I’m from NE but wat a sick vid keep this shit up guys awsome stuff to both men hats off to u gents
The master and the successor❤
Great Collab
My 2 favorites. I love Skinner and his affinity for the aluminum boat 😂. Up till last year I was running a 16ft StarCraft 1967 closed bow and was running that boat over 50 miles offshore off AC. I switched to literally the same boat but fiberglass now and newer 😂😆😂 1968. People seriously think I'm insane to run as far offshore as I do but I pick my days and I don't push it. My results speak for themselves.
What size motor and how much fuel do you carry?
@@MartinVSmith6334 I'm running a 2020 40hp Merc. I carry 12 gallon in my main and 2 5 gallon. I rarely need the 2nd and my average trip I travel about 175 miles total
The mashup everyone wanted 🤙
I've been watching his channel from day one, never disappointed 👍
My two favorites in one video!
Two of the greatest! Both of your are in my saved playlist. Great stuff!
Finally! You’re in my hood 👍That fishing spot always delivers.
Nice change of pace fishing in Northeast waters for the iconic Striper and Bluefish...my knees can't take the pounding that fishing from a boat gives them.
Wow my two favorite TH-camrs one video, we we could get more of this!
Cool to see both of you in the same video...2 of my favorite TH-cam anglers
Two fishing legends one boat I wish I knew half of the two of you. Also amazing content look forward to your posts every week
My two faves together in my playground as a youth. Orient… those fabled waters, the underwater cliffs and valleys. My favorite place on the east coast. Though now we are down in Swansboro.
Thanks for sharing the video!
Two top dogs! Good work fellas!
I grew up fishing buck tails and diamond jigs at the race, I miss it!
Great collab glad you enjoy the northeast fisheries
Two guys very good at what they do. Nicely done
Awesome collaboration
It's like seeing a joint concert of the Beatles and Pink Floyd
What! you got to fish 1 on 1 with John Skinner. Awesome!
This is just very good. Excellent, even.
The legend John Skinner!
Man Elias and Skinner in the same boat... those fish don't stand a chance!
good fishing variety on this one - deep fishing, i suspect you would catch different stuff if you wnet offshore a bit - maybe you will get a canyon boat at some point #the edge
My two favorite TH-camrs in my old stomping grounds great video
Dream collab
Great work! Enjoy both your channels immensely. Thank you for sharing!
What a unexpected colab 🔥
Two of my favorite fishermen! Awesome video! :)
Loved the video! I appreciate the learner's spirit that you displayed. Wish more people had that kind of understanding.
Well that’s a nice trip!
Nice!
My 2 favorite North East fishermen.. john happy Father's day to you, and elias you know the vibes, tight lines brother. 👊🏾🤙🏾
Legend.
I've done a very similar style of fishing with a 3-way swivel. The drift in the rips is so fast, any snag is gonna take that bucktail. But love catching stripers this way
Drag on the reel sounds crazy
Skinners little boat is SICK.
Fun ride for sure
Tautog would be nice to see. Been a long time.
I watch both y’all’s channels and I would say skinner is a beast but you ain’t far behind him man! Nice video!
Good duo here! Sea-Money soon?
It's like the mega powers uniting
Interesting!
Oh snap I just asked for this!!
At first, I was like, really play a student. Elias seems to be well-versed in multiple fishing techniques. Then I heard Skinner's voice and was like, oh ya...
Aloha. Knew who you were talking about even before I heard his voice.
2 goats 1 boat
Skinner is op at fishing
Cool video. Enjoyed it very much.
Skinner is good! He literally wrote the book... actually multiple books on fishing 🎣
Those were some beasts. How did your arms not fall off?
I was hoping you two would get a trip together while you were up North.
Plum gut is the best too
Looks like Plum Gut. Fished it in the 1970s.
Hey enjoy all your vids question tho I'm here I. OiB and will be fishing the ICW side this week. What's best lure hook combo for this time of year. Thanks.
I'd like to know if you guys disagreed about anything. 😄
Well shit didn't expect this
it is what it is. who is this guy? don henley? eh... skinner is no jimmy houston. these powered boats, including the kayak aint my thing. bring me back to the hobie revolution times.
👍😎✌
New england style..
Please do not tell me this was the morning of Thursday 13th. I was fishing 6.5 miles due north of Plumb gut.
I am a super fan of you both.
If you guys had a baby he/she could just call the fish to jump into the boat (just like Ernie)
that guy just muscles the fish out... Where is the drilling/fight? What is the point here: catching them yoinking em up as fast as possible with a rod, drag and line that is 5x too strong or actually fishing and fighting the fish with a balanced setup?
Good stuff, but, not gonna lie, my arms hurt just watching y’all dredge the bottom like that. Deep water fishing is work.
I would rather watch Elias over skinner any day
Let's hear some truth from the guys that are out there, did it seem that the rock fish are almost gone/extinct ? And remember rights don't require licenses/permission slips !
boring....
