- Verytex (Genesis) Playthrough (No Death). Played by ArekTheAbsolute. "Verytex" is a vertical scrolling shooting game for Sega's Mega Drive console. Players controlled the Verytex, a futuristic spaceship, on its journey to protect mankind from waves of enemies in six different levels.

Jesus the soundtrack is killer!
Hitoshi Sakimoto's custom sound driver really helps, his sound is unlike anything else on the Genesis. His mark is on quite a few Genesis titles, like Bad Omen/Devilish, Crude Busters/Two Crude Dudes, and Midnight Resistance to name just a few of games that his custom driver is put to use by the man himself.

Hitoshi Sakimoto, did one game for Konami far as I know, Gradius V. Otherwise he was more a freelancer.

Organic level! Always them Japanese shooters have a level with some sort of "flesh" theme! They always seem to have a "mecha" type boss too! Heh

Игра так себе, зато музыка просто шедевральна.
Same sound effects and digits as Task Force Harrier EX (Treco 1991).
Why SEGA didn't include this classic shmup Verytex in their Genesis Classic Mini, I'll never know.
I'd rather play this that subpar junk like Comic Zone. 🎮
