You're very welcome! Your videos look solid man. Keep pressing on - you're gonna blow up before you know it (the desk setup video was noice!). I subbed!
Just bought a 2020 Mirra 2 with fully loaded features for $550 in California. That’s around 1k less than a new one when accounting for sales tax and shipping. Checked for the sticker to be sure, thanks for the video!
HM is currently having another 15% off sale, decided to try out the Sayl and Embody, so I ordered both with your links. We'll see which, if any, I prefer over my current chair. Thanks for the informative content! Turned out the Steelcase Amia had too much lumbar for me, so we'll see how these do.

The fact that I did this in Indonesia makes it all the more insane! It's practically impossible to get high end used chairs here. But if you persevere long enough, you probably can.
Great video, thanks! Just found an almost new Mirra 2 with all the bells and whistles for a great price ($300). Am really enjoying it and the crazy range of adjustments. Especially like the all mesh seat, tilt lock and forward tilt.
Great video, thanks. I managed to get brand new fully loaded Sayl for about 500 dollars. I don't live in the US so here the HM chairs are way, way more expensive, it was a bargain.

I went hunting a couple days ago and found a fully specced out mirra 2 that has only been used for 3 months for only $190 (bought it from a guy who had to shut his new business down because of corona)
I heard Aeron is very comfortable for people using computers a lot but not as much as for those reading books on a desk. I study for 8-10 hours/day on a desk. What would you recommend between Remastered Aeron and Mirra2?
On tip for used Embody: it is washable, I mean soak with detergent and jet wash. Something that is good about only have a layer of fabric and no cushion. Do dry it out quikly tho, better with a fan blowing air towards it.

currently looking around for a good deal on an Aeron. for anyone who's tried both, is the difference all that noticeable between the classic and remastered version?
I have had my Aron chair for 15 years, Now I need to get the bottom seat replaced, starting to sag after all of the years on it. Any place I could get a size c seat from? Will the Newer Aron seats fit the older one? Thanks for the video.

Currentely have the Logitech Embody. While i think it can be a great chair for some people it just hurts my lumbar region a lot. It just presses too hard there. Also i get weird cracks and noises all over the chair. Gonna return it and switch to the Aeron. One question i have. You mentioned that the Aeron is only made for people who sit in an ergonomic way all day. Does this inculde putting your feet up on a foot rest or small table? I never sit crosslegged or weird in any other way but i sometimes like to put my feet up while watching a movies and stuff.
Sitting up is fine but a classic aeron will be much more difficult to adjust your back tension bc it just takes like 100 turns to get a noticeable difference. The remastered fixed this and few turns = big difference
It's a little tough since I'm a short dude and so the chairs I usually go for are people that fit me, BUT, I did make a buying guide and used tall people as a category in my "what chair should you buy" video!
I have a Secretlab Titan and the backrest is crooked and super uncomfortable. CS was unhelpful and deciding on eventually getting the Aeron Gaming Edition or the Logitech Embody. I sit cross legged a lot and have sciatica so I'm thinking the Embody might be for me? I'm choosing the gaming editions because they're fully loaded and remastered, all black, and actually cheaper than the normal.
I'm glad it was helpful! Also, nice camera choice! I started with the 55mm 1.8 because I wanted something for photos, but have since sold it and purchased a 16-35mm and a 24-105. I use the 16-35mm for talking head and 20% of b-rolls and the 24-105 is used 80% for b-rolls. When I'm taking photos, the 24-105 lives on my camera because it's just so much more useful to use with my young ones. I REALLY want to get a 24mm gm lens for talking head, but used that money to purchase a second camera! I saw Vilitrox is about to release a 24mm 1.8, so I will probably pick that up instead!
Hey buddy, just wondering which HM chair you would recommend for tail bone pain, my current chair hurts my tail bone over long periods, so was thinking would a foam seat like the Sayl be better or mesh like the Aeron?
Very informative, thanks! I have a gently used Embody for sale (green balance fabric, white frame, aluminum legs). I'm in Canada (Ontario) where would you suggest I list this?
I plan to do that in my HM video, but I have so many videos in the backlog, it might be a while. I'm going to try to get my hands on a Cosm and review it specifiaclly bc i've been getting a lot of requests.
Question: how does the Mesh Mirra compare with the similar-looking Celle I've seen on the used market? The mesh version of the Celle looks like the Mirra, but the torso is not as wide (another old model is the Ambi). Both seem to be listed used between $300-$400.
I was speaking with a rep. at Atlas inquiring about the possibility of getting the suspension headrest with polished aluminum finish to match my polished aluminum Aeron. The Atlas rep. said “Not at this time. We have some clear anodized metal rods on order, so perhaps in the future.” Do you have any additional insight you can share about the upcoming Atlas products or when they plan to be released?
Let me talk to my contact and I’ll let you know. I know about a couple projects they have coming up, but not sure I’m allowed to say anything. None of them involved the aluminum look though, and it might be too niche? Your chair itself is still graphite or mineral or whatever color, no?
@@Ahnestly Yeah, my chair is Graphite/Polished Aluminum. The Atlas Graphite headrest would look fine, I just think having a polished aluminum version of it would be just that added touch to look as OEM as possible. You’re probably right though, the polished aluminum frame might be to niche for mass production of a headrest in that colorway. Without saying anything that may get you in trouble, based on what you know is in the pipeline would you advise holding off until those products come to light or is it worth just getting the Suspension headrest now?
I need chairs for Ergonomics rebels. I've been watching all your chair videos... I was waiting until Black Friday Sales or Cyber Monday but the only chair I keep running into is the Lilly pad looking chair. I don't want to pay almost $400. So question, what about buying one of those big/tall or XL chairs... am I on the right track? Until then, I'll keep looking but I desperately need a chair. I started working at home and find myself standing (Definitely agree with switching it up but) with a standard desk. Haaaaa. Hot mess express. Help!
If you need a a ergonomic rebel chair, I recommend one of the following: Secret Lab Titan Evo 2022 regular size (unless you're 5'11 or taller, in which case I recommend you get an XL) or a Herman Miller Embody if you're looking for a great balance between ergonomics rebel and proper seating!
@@Ahnestly I really appreciate your reply! I bought something (black Friday sale about 2 minutes before getting this notification, what are the odds) to hold me over while I save up for something more beneficial!
Whatever choice you make, they're all great in their own ways, and you don't even need to worry about it being comfortable and have good build quality because they're all great in that aspect
@@RoseyD absolutely love it! Definitely my favorite chair that I’ve ever owned. It’s still just as comfortable as when I got it, even after fifteen hour days every week. No signs of aging or ware whatsoever
I used the Aeron at an old job and I hated it because I sat with my legs crossed like an idiot. Don’t do this. It’ll wear down your knees. I got an injury when running and falling on my knee and it would’ve been fine had it not been for me sitting like this for a year straight which literally tore my cartilage. Sitting straight is only uncomfortable because you’ve gotten your body used to sitting incorrectly. It’s like sleeping on your stomach. Not good for you, and gives you back problems. Trust me in the long run, you won’t regret it.
I have an Aeron chair (older) classic. It has everything except the tab style arm adjusters. The seat needs to be replaced (my kitties thought it was a good stretch). My question is does it make sense to replace the seat rather than buy new or used?

@ahnestly or others, what's the best place to buy OEM Aeron gas cylinders (or as close to OEM)? It seems herman miller doesn't sell these replacement parts in their store.
Really??? That's surprising...they should be able to order that for you? I'm not that sure myself, but that is one of the most common parts. Recommend you check out reddit
Curious why it still holds its value when reselling in 5 to 10 years? Wouldn't it be out of warranty by then, or at least have a shorter warranty remaining?
Great tips and advice. I'm already putting to use. Question though, what are your thoughts of Aeron vs Steelcase Leap, Haworth Zody, and Knoll (Re)Generation?
This is totally personal preference. I have lower back soreness but mid back pain. I thought if I put lumbar at mid back, it would fix it, but turns out it made it muchhhh worse. This is why I chose the posture fit, bc I had to leave the lumbar at the lower position regardless
This is the best content about HM chairs! What do you think about the new HM Verus? I'm about to buy it, but since it is new, I can't find reviews anywhere
@@FampezzaGamingHD i bought the interweave 2 model and have been using since then. At first I had lower back issues and almost returned it. The lumbar support is almost cosmetic only, giving very little extra support. I also went to shop to try the triflex model, but didn't like the quality of it and the lumbar support seemed even worse, however the triflex itself seems to do much better job holding the back. In the end, my body adapted (pls take into consideration i'm only 75kg) and i decided to keep the chair. But today I'd probably have chosen the sayl w/ or w/o the lumbar support.
@@agnusnb thanks so much, I’m also a similar size to you. I am currently looking at the sayl , do you not think lumbar support is essential? I think I should get it since I’ve had upper back problems

I know of their outlets in Brooklyn, Penn, FL, and CA. I bought mine in FL. My Embody shows no signs of wear, so I assume it is either overstocked or returned.

The mesh version of the Celle looks like the Mirra, but the torso is not as wide (another old model is the Ambi). Both seem to be listed used between $300-$400.
New to your channel. I didn't know chairs are that big of the deal. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
HUGE deal!!
I bought something
(black Friday sale about 2 minutes before getting this notification, what are the odds)
to hold me over while I save up for something more beneficial!
I am so torn between the Sayl, Mira, and Aeron. I'm leaning towards the Sayl cause of it's look, but I just can't make up my mind
Whatever choice you make, they're all great in their own ways, and you don't even need to worry about it being comfortable and have good build quality because they're all great in that aspect
@@IamZeidy thank you! I actually ended up buying the Sayl and it just got here a couple days ago. I LOVE it. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made
@@enrath4078 how is it a few months later?
@@RoseyD absolutely love it! Definitely my favorite chair that I’ve ever owned. It’s still just as comfortable as when I got it, even after fifteen hour days every week. No signs of aging or ware whatsoever
@@enrath4078 do you still recommend? Thinking of getting one. Also how tall are you as I assume this is quite important
Fantastic guide
The quality you put into your channel definitely isn't reflected in your sub count (yet)
Heyy I appreciate that!!
Can you point me to the exact video and time when you talk about casters in your Aeron review? (19:25 in this video)
What about the “rhythm” material for the embody?
Rhythm is very similar to the medley. So a bit rough/scratchy!
I have an Aeron chair (older) classic. It has everything except the tab style arm adjusters. The seat needs to be replaced (my kitties thought it was a good stretch). My question is does it make sense to replace the seat rather than buy new or used?
replace the seat. so much cheaper and very easy to find part on ebay or some online site
Is there an ergo chair with a headrest for the rebels that's under 600 dollars new?
Just made this video!

Dude I love this video. Also, what software did you use for all the text video editing? It’s awesome!!!
Hey! I used Premiere and bought an Essential Graphics package that I use for ease. Can tax your PC quite a bit, though! Appreciate the kind words!
@@Ahnestly Awesome videos!! Maybe you can also do videos on how to create videos and use special effects within them. Your videos by far are the most gorgeous and professional, yet fun videos compared to any I’ve seen! I love your content and the way you present your videos. I subscribed, liked, and shared. Be patient and keep up the GREAT work! This was much needed.
Definately waiting to see a cosm review(high back). 🙂
I wish I could give a full breakdown, but I legit have not seen cosm used in the wild
@@Ahnestly It's ok, don't stress :) Your content is great, I'm glad we have someone doing these niche type of videos in the form of expensive chair reviews.
I have a mirra2, but if i hadn't gotten that one, I would have gone for the cosm. Hands down the most comfortable HM chair I tried - I miss that head support on the mirra.
Wouldn't it be out of warranty by then, or at least have a shorter warranty remaining?
because they're built to last decades
Great tips and advice. I'm already putting to use. Question though, what are your thoughts of Aeron vs Steelcase Leap, Haworth Zody, and Knoll (Re)Generation?
What about the Celle model?
Single seater seats are for mermaids, people should use the dynamic two seater seat!
LOL....what could you do in this 2-seater chair...?
@@Ahnestly You can find it on my page!
For the lumbar support, do you have any suggestions in terms of height? I don't have the PostureFit, just the lumbar pad.
Unfortunately I haven't tried it and don't know a ton about it! I always tell folks to try it out bc their return policy is fantastic!
@@Ahnestly mais sense, I'll give I try, thanks!
@@agnusnb hey ! Also looking at the verus, how did you find it ?
Tip: half price chairs at the Design Within Reach outlet shops. I got my new $1500 Embody gaming chair for $750.
Really? How?
@@Ahnestly Just google it. For example, www.dwr.com/store?lang=en_US&StoreId=24 explains it as "overstocked, returned and scratch-and-dent furniture offered at substantial savings." I know of their outlets in Brooklyn, Penn, FL, and CA. I bought mine in FL. My Embody shows no signs of wear, so I assume it is either overstocked or returned.
No Celle?? It’s a great chair
I picked up a Herman miller Mirra 2014 but for some reason it has the zoro back support instead of the sexy panty? I thought Zoro looking back support is from 2003-2012 but sticker says 2014. Someone pls explain
Hm not sure! hope you find your answer!
I have heard people call the aeron ugly as well - I really don't get it though, IMO it's a truly timeless design.
who cares if its ugly should be comfortable when u sit on it u dont look at your chair
@@phobiedufromage2433 yeah kind of true, but if you use it in a studio and have clients over its kind of good if it also looks nice
Warranty only pertains to the original owner. This is the case for essentially all consumer goods.
Hello, is it normal for the Aeron remastered back seat pan to be loose around the edges where the mesh and the strap around the mesh intercepts ?
I noticed my Aeron remastered is a little clumsy when I apply pressure with my finger. Just the top portion of the chair
Hm are you talking about the plastic crevice? I'm not exactly sure which location you're speaking of
@@Ahnestly Hey. Thank you for replying. Do you mind if i send you a short video clip of what i am talking about ? I could send it to your email or any platform whichever is easy for you. It is the first time i payed 825 dollar for a chair, and it wasn’t easy to hand that cash. It took hours of reshearch
hi, i can have a satu for 180€ (i‘m french lol), I don't have a bigger budget, will this chair be okay anyway, for gaming utilisation ? I can't find a better chair at this price.
As mentioned in the video, it's not a long term sitting chair
@@Ahnestly ok thnks bro
Where do you resell your aeron?

I talk about the best places to buy a used aeron, which also makes them the best places to sell an aeron!
Thanks looking to maybe upgrade from my used $30 Aeron I got 🙂
how messed up was it?
@@greod1006 not bad, have used it 2+ years. It's gotta be 10+ years old. Might get the embody, found one for $600 local
I came across your page. Thank you for offering your insight on these chairs. I found some Aeron chairs with the sl posture fit for $600. The chairs seem to be in excellent condition. Is this a fair price? I would like your opinion.
I'd recommend you watch my used aeron video or the Aeron comparison video to make sure it has all the features you want!
