They kind of made 2 “Lu Bu” characters for SW. The original one was Keiji Maeda because he was powerful and possessed a special horse and was the Oda “wildcard”. He was strong but more of a free spirit who was down to give people the business for fun, my favorite from the series. Tadakatsu is the more accurate representation of Lu Bu. Can’t wait for the day 1 Lu Bu smoke on DW Origins.
If you get the chance, you should definitely do a Lu Bu challenge run in Samurai Warriors 1 (it’s probably easier in Xtreme Legends since they rebalanced the game) but that’s legit the HARDEST version of Lu Bu in my opinion, and I’m surprised more people haven’t incorporated that in their challenge runs!
Dude, thanks for the video, I enjoyed watching it! The pain produced mucus. btw I really love this game! Especially the era of PS 2 SW2, a masterpiece that I replay to this day.
SW1 was the first SW game I played but man, I couldn't get a grip on it. I never made it past a stage or two. SW5 is the first I've beaten (never sought to buy any other SW games for some reason but 5 truly is the first). There is the sense that it's easier and I'm glad you called it too. Although, I haven't played the game in a hot minute and I'm sure I tried a new game starting on the hard difficulty for a bit of challenege. I don't mind getting smacked around if I know with patience, I can overcome it. Trust me, don't ask how I felt about the first time I played Nier: Automata.
Did you try 4? If not, you should really try 4 on PS4(NOT 4-II, runs perfect on PS5 and looks great) or 4 DX on PC. It's really good gameplay wise and best story telling.
@@Raddas0.0I didn't play 4 or 4-ii but I heard that 4-ii improved gameplay and both hero and weapons upgrade systems, also Naomasa Li looks awesome and he is only playable in 4-ii. Do you think the story alone in 4 DX worth buying it instead of 4-ii ? I only played SW2 and I want to try DW8xl and SW5 next, but I would appreciate your opinion regarding sw4 games too
I definitely think it's worth checking out. I put about 200 hours on regular SW4 on PS4 and currently doing that on 4 DX. Comparing the games from SW2, it's a huge change and prepare to be open minded about the gameplay. I definitely think it's worth checking out. Play it on console if you have one. It runs great on PS5. It is improved gameplay, but I felt like the content is not there. It's my least played warriors game. DW8XL, I only played the story and left the side content alone. Story and gameplay are good, but DW7 storytelling is better.
BRUH I love this! lol I actually learned something new on this video. I did not know Samaria Warriors was based on Japanese version of Dynasty Warriors! Awesome video bro!
Me back then played WO1: Fought Tadakatsu for the first time, get rekted: Too strong, another day 😠 Fought Lu Bu for the first time, managed to whoop his a$$: ...HOW?! 😳
Bruh I feel guilty for laughing throughout your whole suffering in SW2. I can only imagine how many tries it took to beat Tadakatsu. I'm glad you picked Yukimura though, he's one of my favorites in Samurai Warriors besides Mitsunari and Masamune.
14:55 - 15:02 mane them sound effects took me out lol, I remember as a kid this game made me put down samurai warriors and go pick up DW 🤣🤣 I'll take Lu Bu any day of the week lol Sw2 definitely has the best nostalgia though, right now im playing sw 4 empires on my vita. But koei games always gonna be my go-to
For me I always thought Keiji Maeda was harder to fight and was closer to Lu Bu when I was younger playing these games. Tadakatsu Honda was honor driven the opposite of Lu Bu. Also shoot out my boi Masamune Date!!! That’s my favorite person to play with on SW
"A lot of people have the same weapon in this game (SW5), I like that..." Don't say that to Dynasty Warriors fans, they had a roster cut and duplicate weapons in DW6 and later even more duplicate weapons in DW9. Fan favourite weapons and movesets were scrapped in favour of generic swords, spears, clubs, etc. At least 4 different characters wielded the same generic weapon type with little to no change in the moveset except for their musou so if you didn't like the moveset for clubs, you now had 4 or 5 characters you would hate to play as compared to their OP original weapon moveset.
SW2 was the one man. I still turn that Xbox 360 on for that game. I also would recommend of course Warriors Orochi, just a dope DW/SW mashup game. And Dynasty Warriors Gundam, that game made me a Gundam fan fr
Now let's do the opposite again. Pursue Tadakatsu, in every different stage that features him, in Sengoku Basara (Aka. Devil Kings, 2 Heroes, 3 Utage, 4 Sumeragi, and Yukimura-den) Because there's multiple stages where Tadakatsu can show up, please use different characters for each :)
Also SW5 sucks. Weapon cloning absolutely killed the game as well as how lazy some of the ideas were for characters, maps, and the "aging" for only Nobunaga or Mitsuhide
For the first samurai warriors, you should try extreme legends because tadakatsu was revamped into a playable character
13:32 LMAO he did you dirty
15:19 lmao "Stop playing possum, i know you're still alive"
Sugoroku mode brings back some memories ahhh good times indeed.
I booted my ps2 just to play that game back in day.
SW Also had Keiji Maeda. I always equated him to Lu Bu since he had that buff and also had his own special horse.
Yeah, specially in warriors orochi where you fight both of them.
yea I remember 2 for sure best one IMO
6:33
Pray for the generic soldier. They had to give their shoulder to the most strongest and heaviest warrior. 😅
I love this series keep it up very entertaining to me lol i know nothing about these games

Seal your fate! ?

10:52 Doesn't Tadakatsu also appear in Yukimura's Stage 1? (But it's easy to encounter him)
29:10 Honda Jumpscare
Or feels like Yukimura rammed by Bus? 🤣
Do not pursue Lu Bu's cousin
i thought he will do this on hard difficulty with level 1 character but thats probably impossible lol😂
He was in nioh too if I remember correctly Bro was whooping me in that game.
Hey bro are you going to do warriors of orochi
SW2 was the one man. I still turn that Xbox 360 on for that game. I also would recommend of course Warriors Orochi, just a dope DW/SW mashup game. And Dynasty Warriors Gundam, that game made me a Gundam fan fr
Tadaksu honda anda Lu bu the best😊
Not a true fan unless you know about that Sugoroku 😂
try doing tadakadsu honda in sengoku basara
Me : thats basara 2 heroes character
So this dude is HIM in Japanese
You should see the version of Honda in Sengoku BASARA xD
@@cyrilpham9992 lmaooooo!! No wonder that name sounded familiar!! I mf Love Sengoku Basara

I think it's sad no one will watch musou warriors content without that tired "pursue" meme.

i find anybody's interest in Japanese culture interesting
Tadakatsu at Mikatagahara and Sekigahara was a PROBLEM in SW2. . .
tadakatsu honda and lu bu... those two are on different levels on their series...
In Samurai Warriors he was a generic soldier, SW Xtreme Legends is when he made his official playable debut and became the beast he is.
bruh, u know Honda is about it when u see that black and red aura around him
Also SW5 sucks. Weapon cloning absolutely killed the game as well as how lazy some of the ideas were for characters, maps, and the "aging" for only Nobunaga or Mitsuhide
why is it always the second game that the devs go "alright, turn off his limiters."
