It has only been 23 days since the last one Cool Dude #123. Glad you enjoyed it. The delay is because each one takes three days to edit. I will write a boring blog post about this. Hope you are well.
Love the recital of my friend Billy. I always used to say 5' 4". I was the playground poet laureate at Binstead primary school. I can still remember all the rhymes 55 years on.
Yay ! 😃👍 Marek's back. Great first parter, looking forward to the rest. I think when you pass away Marek, there needs to be one of those Blue Plaques somewhere. Or at least a walk named after you. A tree is a lovely way to remember someone. We planted a Rose in our garden when my Mum passed away.
Thank goodness you are out of the well. I’d like a bench with a view when I die. Possibly a sign that says “I’m dead, why couldn’t you have given this bench to me when I was alive”.
The idea of a tree is nice. I've always liked the majesty and uniqueness of a gnarly, old Mulberry. Also, you would keep giving back to people with that fruit every year.
I enjoyed watching your video Cool Dude with interesting info & a funny rhyme! I would like a seat made in the shape of a bicycle (possibly tandem size) to be remembered by. My bike is coming with me when I get cremated/buried but I'm hoping & praying that ile live forever! 😃 Looking forward to seeing parts 2, 3 & 4. Take care & Stay Cool, Cool Dude! 😎🚴♀️🚶♀️
Another fantastic walk… I do love a good four parter! Looking forward to the next part. I think I’d like to be remembered as that northern bloke on the south coast with very little talent.
Unlucky, cause you’re also me. 😆😆😆 Marek, I love your humour. Thank you for uploading. Really makes my day. I survived! 2 had the biggest mouth and no teeth.
I work nights(I'm a carer) and I tend to watch your walking vids before I have my pre shift sleep because they chill me right out. You really do go to some stunning places. When I die I want my ashes scattered in a place called the singing cavern which is where me and my other half got married.
If I’m out walking with my wife, and we see a memorial bench, she sometimes asks if I too would like to have a bench placed in my memory in that location. That might sound sweet but she says it with an evil look that’s suggests she plans to bury me alive under a bench which she already has prepared - yikes! Anyway another brilliant video, Cool Dude No.1. It was quite a Marek-Athon. I chose snake head 5 as it looked a bit tired so wouldn’t give me much more than a gentle nibble. Looking forward to watching part 2 - which I’ve just been notified has just been uploaded 👍
Make sure you are never alone in a room with your wife. It sounds like she is definitely plotting to kill you. Your post may well be used to convict her in court.
@@cdwc I’ve just been told off by my wife for spoiling our dinner. Turns out she wasn’t impressed with my attempted citizen’s arrest for my premeditated (but yet to be enacted) demise.
Wonderful series CD#1, the snake challenges are a great addition; so glad to have survived it! I think a memorial pond would be fitting with maybe a plaque saying 'died of something' to get people using their imaginations. Also, whilst it is nice that you have sunglasses-Marek joining you once more, I cannot help but hope that Martin Van Meat joins you on an adventure one day (sorry for the cross channel contamination). Cheers CD#247
What a breathtakingly beautiful walk! I'm late to the party but I can't wait to watch the other three parts. When I die, I want to be turned into compost and hopefully a tree will grow out of the earth enriched by my remains and birds will nest in it.
Well isn't this just the best video I've seen, well, since the last video of yours! What a fantastic day one, I look forward to seeing your progress and thanks for this.
Nice one, Marek. I didn'yt even know of this trail until recently. Looks a bit less challenging and tedious than the South Downs Way! Well done and stay cool.
The Fenix 6x. It is ridiculously expensive but amazing. I use it with the Outdooractive app, the Fenix X for close up stuff and the Outdoor Active to see where I am in general. Although the Outdooractive app is excellent for working out which exact path to go on when there are about eight alternatives.
I always remember that Billies business ended up at FIVE foot four. The alliteration adding to the punchline. Not that it matters cool dude, just reporting the facts from my childhood. Loving the serpent walk, looking forward to the next ones. Pete
really enjoyed this walk and I’m anticipating parts 2-4, thanks Marek. I'm with Frank Zappa as far as memorials go: "It’s not important to even be remembered. The people worried about being remembered are guys like Reagan, Bush... and they’ll spend a lot of money and do a lot of work to make sure their remembrance is just terrific." -FZ
OMG next time you’re in Haslemere hit me up! I know so many great walks round here having lived in Haslemere for 20+ years!! Keep up the great content buddy :)
@@cdwc there is a great walk between Haslemere and Witley which takes you across a train track, through farms, through a shooting range, and there are lots of great pubs along the way which is always a bonus! 😂

Hello cool dude. All the gear is on the website under 'My Walking Gear'. I wear Altra Olympus 4.0 trainers in the summer (I have wide feet - they are brilliant). In the winter I wear Brasher Country Master's.
I never get lonely. I quite like being by myself. Apart from checking where I am on the navigation app (which is quite a lot between that and my watch), I don't really look at my phone that much. Maybe every couple of hours.
I notice on the draw that you have suffered from an injury I and many of the follically challenged suffer from - a bang on the head / walking into something. May I recommend a tube of Germolene (always taken with me on walks) and better still a a bump cap - only about a fiver at Screwfix. It's a bit like idiots putting on a rugby player's ruck type rubber protective cap (to stop cauliflower ears) so idiots don't bang their heads walking into lampposts, etc., but you don't get the odd looks when walking down the road.
Ah, Haslemere's big houses! On my train back form London to IOW, Haslemere was the last stop for posh people in suits to get off the train, so that myself and carriages full of society's rejects could continue in peace to repopulate Havant, Portsmouth and the Island.
I think the poshness has stretched to Petersfield now. Meanwhile Fratton has managed to maintain an incredible '95% of people on the platform looking pissed/on drugs' for the past 25 years.
Oh my gosh! I've won the prize draw!! Thanks Cool Dude!
Congrats Richard 😊👍
The greatest day of perhaps anyone's life. Congratulations dude. Will be in the post shortly.
