He actually hurt Tank & failed to press him on some scary shit in the later rounds. Can’t remember the exact round but it was the only time Tank stopped pressing and stayed in the center. He winced in pain and stopped pressing forward till the bell. Then got back to pressing when he got that between round rest, this time pressing to get the job done VS making Frank tire himself even more. Frank downfall was fearing the power instead of being on the same time Tank was which was sticking to HIS Game Plan. Exactly what Derrick James told him to avoid and do , and him not listening is what got him knocked out

Wouldn’t have made a difference. Staying in the center of the ring with Tank is just as dangerous. Frank’s mistake was that he moved around too much and tired out.
He wasn’t in the corner because he wanted to be there, Tank was cutting off the ring and forcing him in the corner.

Frank fought scared. Tanks pressure had Frank shook and wore him down. Frank kept leaning on the ropes in those corners and Tank would tee off and he got Frank outta there. This was Tanks best performance imo
I like your assessment but I believe the Santa Cruz and pitbull was his best. Tank Cleary was rusty from Inactivity early on. This was masterful in his pressure and stoppage though. He traded a lot with Santa Cruz and had the KO of the year!

Frank fought scared and too cautious. Biggest mistake was staying in that corner for way too long allowing tank to look for an opening. Had he pressured tank, it might have had a different outcome. The times he threw, he landed on tank but instead of trying to put pressure he kept on cowering and clinching up to avoid exchanges.
@mmafanatic-tz5or I can understand your view point. I felt there wasn't a way for frank to win without fighting a perfect fight of keep away. If he pressures tank like Ryan and rollie did he gets countered by a shot lunging forward. The fight he was fighting wasn't bad, but after a while he would tire, which he did. To me frank shots were thrown to keep tank away not to hurt him. Just my opinion.
Wasnt scared when you have to constantly fight going back you tire out quicker and that’s why this happened he was getting backed into the corner first couple rounds he was still fresh so he was using his footwork.
