Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) observed at XISS

On 26th November 2019, Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, observed the auspicious occasion of the 70th ‘Constitution Day’ or ‘Samvidhan Diwas’. The event was attended by around 330 participants including the administration, Head of Five Programmes, Faculty Members, Staff & Students.
Dr. Amar E. Tigga, Acting Director, XISS in his address said that the Constitution is 'the vehicle of life'. Prof. Nidhi Shukla stated that the Constitution is our 'holiest and sacred book'. Abhishek Singh a student of Rural Management, first year, shared some important facts about the Constitution and its makers.
The event concluded with an oath of the Preamble of the Constitution initiated by Fr. Pradeep Kerketta S.J., Assistant Director XISS followed by everyone present in the auditorium.
