BURIBANMA (Women's Dance)

Earlier this year we showcased this special video to Kids Caring For Country. Now we are excited to share it with the broader community. This dance, named Buribanma, was created by Deidre and Alinta Currie in honour of all Aboriginal women and girls and their continuing contributions to the community. This dance is performed by mothers and daughters of the Kids Caring For Country dance troupe and is dedicated in loving memory to Deidre's beautiful daughter Alinta Colleen Currie whose spirit still dances on.
