    Hey, Bryan! I noticed that your 40th Anniversary is wearing a set of Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires! Cool! Don't forget to tell us all about them and how they compare to the 'Gatorbacks'.

    Hi Brian. I have been enjoying your videos. This one touched on a subject I can relate to. As my 92 also sounds just like your 93 not firing on all cylinders. I don't have any experience working with fuel injection. I can't believe how easy it is to change the injectors. I'm looking forward to further videos on this it may help with my Vette. Thanks and keep it up. Mike "Bucka" Rugh

      Mike, glad you're enjoying the videos. As soon as I turned off the camera at the end of this video, I realized I hadn't done a thorough check of the fuel in the tank. Sure enough, it was completely contaminated with water. Next video will be outlining the process to remove the contaminated fuel and get it running correctly again.

    Greetings Brian,
    I have a non fuel injector question, hope you don't mind.
    When changing engine mounts on a 95 C4 is it possible just to jack up the engine to access the mounts??🤔
    Thank you Sir!
    I have not seen any good videos on that.

    • @VetteSource
      @VetteSource ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, you can jack it up just far enough to get the mounts out. You'll want to be careful to watch the back of the block/bellhousing to ensure you don't crush the fiberglass firewall.
      Probably they haven't been made since it's not the easiest job😁.

    Hey, I gotta question for you..... Do you know if the driver side front targa top bolt mount is supposed to swivel?

    • @VetteSource
      @VetteSource ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It will have some end play to enable you to line it up better with the female receiver bracket on the top. It is held in place with a plastic retainer so it stays captive in the header bracket.

    • @C4VETTELT1
      @C4VETTELT1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @VetteSource ok good! Lol I kinda thought it might be broken but then it kinda seemed like it was supposed to be like that.

    • @VetteSource
      @VetteSource ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, gives you some wiggle room to move the head of the bolt around if you're parked on a slightly uneven surface.

      @@VetteSource ya know what's totally fucked?!?! I bought a new top from a guy and I seen that the holes were nowhere near close to each other like normal that I've seen with my broken top but now I know thats why!! I just needed to push down on the left side of the mount and it would have worked!!! I called up dude like what the hell is up with this top!!! I can't get it bolted in!! Lol but that's why, he had a really nice set of sawblades so I just traded the top back for the wheels! Dumbass!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 and I still have that damn broken top!!!

    • @VetteSource

      I usually recommend buying rebuilt originals or the new sets that can handle the ethanol fuel. Even though they're a little more difficult to access on a TPI, a rebuilt set should work fine for your purposes.

    Do you know what lb injectors are in a 1992 corvette? Is it 22lb or 24lb ?

      Hey Ross, these will be 22 lb/hrs injectors.

      @@VetteSource i keep hearing two different answers IT’s driving me nuts haha what would happen if i use 24lb injectors ?

    • @VetteSource
      @VetteSource ปีที่แล้ว

      @rossschultheis8098 yea, it's seems to cause confusion. The 92-93 Corvettes use a speed density system, so they have the 22 lb/hrs injectors. In 94-96, The LT1s had the 24 lb/hrs. It won't hurt anything to use a 24 injector, but you may see it run a little rich on start up until the ECM goes closed loop.

    • @VetteSource
      @VetteSource ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly. Whoever was working on it left them on the old injectors when they replaced them. Amazing that they didn't click on the fact the retainers are VERY necessary if you don't won't fuel spraying all over a hot engine.
