He's actually clever rather then mean. He learned alot from the past that we have to see yet if the 2nd season is out or the movie. He kills the ego out of both Yuri's so that they can see beyond. And since he isn't angry when coaching just bluntly honestly cuz he's analyzing the area of problem. He's a great analyst cuz he understands what other's want. Meanwhile Yuri understands what Victor wants 🌚
