Ladies with dry skin, apply your moisturizer on t h i c c on *soaking wet skin*. It takes a while to get used to, but this has changed the game for me.

Samantha-M. Hmmm i needed that tip thanks:) but when do you apply toner? After you apply moisturiser to wet skin?
Ann Y I don’t use a toner, because I just haven’t found a need for it. Here’s what I do use though:
Niacinamide serum on soaking wet skin, then a Vit C serum. While that soaks in for a few seconds, I slather on my body moisturizer, then finish off with my face moisturizer. Ooooh and I’ve found that my Vit C serum doesn’t sting when I apply it on soaking wet skin, probably because it gets diluted. 😃
Samantha-M. Hey I would suggest looking into not mixing Vitamin C with Niacinamide. You should use one or the other at different times of the day but not together. From what I’ve heard from estheticians and dermatologist there are certain chemicals that shouldn’t be mixed.
I learned that from her channel too!! I do it every morning and it srsly saved my dry, burning, flaking skin. I love Dr. Dray, she's so no nonsense and direct.
Retinol in conjunction with hyaluronic acid is perfect during the winter topped with an oil 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 - DONT worry im an Esti

I sustained a brutal sunburn in 2016 and it really changed my skin. It became so dry and just never went back to the way it has been originally. I also recently found out what I thought was dry skin was "dehydrated" skin. So, I have to drink way more water. My texture improved, and now I can see the actual dry spots. I also began to subscribe to Auntie Jackie's "go to bed greasy/wake up breezy" a few months ago to live my best skin life and that has really helped as well. I spray my face with rose water and add my night creams and serums and oils all on top and got to bed that way. That, plus dermaplaning has really changed my game!

I always wondered why does she do it? The booty gurus always say powder after liquid lol
It's a different technique.
When I was teen I had acne and was suggested to me also. It's also used for camouflage in between layers... Or for special effects using HD powders or mineral powder foundations or shimmery formulas....
She does it because she has oily skin... She's taking down the oil before putting on the foundation. She also uses hydrating mist to lock it once she puts the foundation on
Jackie has been known to put highlighter on before the foundation also so that she has that lit-from-within look

That Fenty foundation is just gorgeous! It magically gets the balance right between providing good coverage and sitting so naturally on the skin, it doesn’t look like you’re wearing foundation, even in closeup.

As someone with oily skin, I really appreciate this! I find a lot of moisturizing products work great for dry skin but just make my face WAY greasier than it needs to be.
Love your tips!! Especially the creme highlighter and blush to hide textures. Totally true. I've been using LXMI nilotica goddess glow. Perfect rose gold hue for this winter time. 💨💨
