That lemon shark was amazing and seems very nice
sharks technically cannot sleep. In order for their gills to function and keep fresh water flowing through them, they have to move at all times. Some breeds sleep but most need to move constantly and have brief resting periods.
EDIT: I posted this commet after the someone on the boat said don't wake the sharks or something but then mark explains later.

@@soflet4826 Most times anyway, some species are just agressive and will attack on sight, others, like the giant fishing spiders i find on my wall from time to time, i have never been bit or even approached by one. i usually capture them and take them into the woods to release them.
@@soflet4826 that attitude SUCKS! I grew up in Australia & the amount of sharks that used to be wantonly killed (70-80s) in horrid ways was of the scale.
Also,the spider thing. I've been near Funnel Web Spiders which do have an aggressive reputation & defo can be ,but steer clear & all's well.

Wow.. this was truly breathtaking. For a moment I actually got chills. Mark, that was amazing! These beautiful creatures are like something of another planet, and you are so right! People are terrified of the unknown therefore they make excuses; "sharks eat people". Its extremely hypocritical, seeing the fact that a lot of humans are greedy and eat everything they can get their hands on, for instance; snails. It's a pretty controversial subject, sharks. I mean you could put out the fact that they are pretty dangerous, seeing that great whites for example have caused human deaths, but then there is the fact that no human has ever died from a shark that has not been provoked, such as you said in the video. It's truly an inspiration to see you guys forming such a beautiful and pure bond with these almost magical creatures like all humans could have if they were as intelligent, kind, and open minded as you guys. Anyways, this was a long message and you probably won't read it but I take great respect of you guys and wish you the best❤️❤️

That shark had trust in you :) sharks are very harmless unless you mess with there babies or your trying to kill them and some times if there about to die from hunger then they will eat a human or they mistake you as another animal
Just want to add that some sharks are territorial, so if you're in their territory, they will bite you because of curiosity.
