I have past trauma from cats. My best friend’s cat was super sweet, but super old. She was so scared of me. I begun to just ignore until the day she perished. It was hard for them to recover. Once they did, they got a horrible ginger cat named Luca. He was the worst. Whenever I went to my friend’s house he would bite me and attack me when I walked through the door. They apparently had that issue too. He would tear up the couch and curtains. He wasn’t normal. They still treated him with love, but soon it became a huge problem, and my bestie was losing too much blood and getting injured too much so they had to return him. Their next cat was better, but still mean. We were both kind to each other at first. Then the cat began to do the same thing as the last one, but only when I tried to pet it. I have a couple scars, but I think that Bailey (their current cat) was just trying to play or protect themselves which is normal cat behavior unlike Luca. I am still scared of cats, and don’t like them that much. I am developing ailurophobia. It is becoming a bit better, because my other swim bestie (that’s what I call the girls my age on my swim team) has a cat that IS SO SWEET OMG!!! She is straight from heaven 💗💗💗💗 She loves me, and I still try to keep away from her but she rubs on my leg and it is so sweet 🥺🥺💓. I love her lots, but I haven’t met a cat as sweet as her yet. AND SHE ALWAYS PUURS WHEN I PET HER AHHHH ITS SO CUTE 🥰.

I love cats but every time I see one it just gives me upsetting memories that I hate to remember..
explanation: I had this cat that my mom rescued from her jobs parking lot, she was a grey cat with white all over. We named her pebbles and about a year later we started neglecting her because I had softball my brother had basketball and my mom was ALWAYS doing work.. eventually my mom came home from work and my cat was no where to be found, she checked my room, the bathroom, the kitchen the living room.. nowhere she finally checked her room and looked at the window and my poor kitty clawed down the screen window and jumped out. We haven’t seen her since.. but me and my brother were depressed after it. The worst thing about it is that my brother was at his dads house at the time and he kept asking about pebbles and telling us to say hi to her and it was absolutely heartbreaking 💔 we spent so long looking for her and we just hope that she is now being taken care of or.. in a better place up there.. 😇
