Yeah, I was doing nuke ops yesterday and the bagel ai locked all of us in Sci, then the dragon who was prowling the station broke in and killed me! Fortunately for my team they got away through dispo, but I was killed In a death by a thousand carp teeth! Edit, also we won that round btw
See, the trick is that nobody expects the door-fu to come from the station's AI, compared to, say, a department head caught in the open with nothing but their door remote.
Oh hey I'm the janitor militia at 3:31! Didn't know I got the first crit on them. Learned the shotgun method from the detective on your holoprojector nukie spectate video. Can confirm, very deadly. That assault borg is so tanky though it is insane. Also the mime did all the mannequins, shoutout to them for being creative :D
@@johnnybakescakes think it refers to basically using the shotgun point blank in ambushes or tight corners so all the shells hit. You can see the janitor do it and sink 3 shells straight into a nukie over a counter in the video.

So I was one of the cyborgs this round (at 1:25 I'm the one wearing the head of security hat who charged) and I do believe they had agent id's however we were all iron stormed to hell and back and ended up with some convenient laws which allowed us to fight (for example I was exclusively not allowed to hurt Engineers and Pets) in general this was a very unique round for us cyborgs and it was especially fun having the AI as a comrade I am proud of everyone of my allies in binary
I was the CE in this round. The mime was the one who made all the mannequins. Also I wiped the brain from the nukies borg with a humourous commentary. Nukie borg was talking shit and cheerful CE decided she should reset it
No, the AI was just being a nuisance by bolting every door the nukies tried to go through If the nukies were after the Captain they could just check the nuke disk pinpointer
When I saw this go up right after my first ever nukie round I was worried my crap fighting would be here, then he said salamander and I felt so much more relieved
We've had the AI on the server I play on for a couple days as basically an admeme and it is wild how good they are at disrupting obvious antags even w/ just doors
also lilten, you should totally host a ss13 harmoy spinoff server, or alternatively a LRP/MRP mix server where funny gimmicks but also good RP can be done, this is something thats really lacking on most ss14 servers, because its either hilarious gimmicks or serious RP, MRP doesnt do the gimmicks justice, but i want to RP as a friendly syndicate without having to deal with all the seriousness of MRP sometimes. TLDR: make a LRP/MRP mix server. (for my sanity's sake)
2:56, Salamander got quite the player boost thanks to the new AI, I didnt even know it dropped yet so I was really confused as to why so many people were on lol
I love playing AI, even in it's current state. Being able to open doors for crew and radio all channels is a massive help. It would be cool if borgs could be upgraded with maybe a camera module to allow AIs to see what the borgs can see. I can also see AI becoming one of the major targets for nukies along with the Armoury and Cargo. *Especially* for stealth ops once it is hackable.
Having control of the environment and deciding where people can and cannot go offers an incredible amount of advantages against a nukie op maybe they'll change tactics to disable the ai now to remove that advantage before nuking the station
Man I can't wait to get into Salamander; This was a lot more exciting than the nukie round that happened when they tried AI for- I think it was Vulture a couple days ago now. That unfortunately turned to a slog because the nuke team kept trying to reset health. And despite stealing my comms, being able to listen to crew and cargo; They just played it far too safe. Only took out cargo before ERT responded and sealed their fates.
@@Ramitaken Called for someone to go to ATS one last time before the shuttle never came back? Because then that'd been me who took it. Then jumped by nukies sitting on ATS. Also was Zyggie, Salv tech.

First time being in one of these 🥳 i was the one with the AK who threw stinger at the beginning and critted the commander at the end, only reason i lived so long was due to the bullet shield 😅
AI Core is gonna be such a cool role when it's fully implemented but even as is, being able to just constantly watch out-in-the-open Antags and fuck with them constantly is great kinda wonder if it will make Nukies start feeling under-powered
it's quite impressive with how AI in current state is just a door opener and it can already stagger nukies by a decent amount

There's a reason why the AI satellite is rushed almost every round on SS13

As well as bolting and opening doors, AI can also power at APCs.
Not my finest work, though the very next round I got commander again, and we managed to nuke the station that time.
