Hi there, Great tutorial, simple and you explain each step, vey useful! I have a question please, the menu tab along the top, which has the 'fit' button and the drop downs such as 'no selection filter', on my NX these aren't there, did you manually select these to be there in settings or options? An initial setup tutorial or explanation of these options and best ones to add here may be a good video for beginners. Thanks :).
Not an NX user, but if you want to make good updatable parts, you shouldn't constrain holes off of features like radii of a fillet, because if you change the radius your hole pattern will move, and when you have two interfacing parts, the hole pattern dimension is far far more important than the concentricity of the hole and fillet, also your part drawing is not dimensioned well, features should be dimensioned to measurable features not assumed symmetry and concentricity
I agree with this. Also, that secondary datum should've probably been on one edge and then the other. Constraining that 45* with a datum was unnecessary. Thinking about how to measure all of this was challenging. I first try to design with manufacturing in mind, and then I do a second review for measurement methods. If it's a design for my home creation, I'm assuming manual tools and measurements.
In NX, do we need to pick different workbenches (like Catia) for specific type of design (Part design, Sheet metal, Composite, Generative Shape design for surfaces creation)?
I am trying to remake it but when I want to make a sketch on the plane of the base. You get to select the edges of the extrution. But when i do it it shows the outline but i can't select it.
Hi, whenever I unite the bodies it doesnt work. The angled circle is not uniting with the block that is also at an angle. I am not sure why, I even repeated the whole sketches to make sure i did nothing wrong but they still arent uniting. Could you help please?
Hi so great video. Where can i found materials like your ? I so want learn nx, but I need technical drawing of elements and their 3d drawing. Can you help me with this ?
at 5:20 my line ends did not track and snap to the two edges, and at 5:38 I could not select the base's edge with rapid dimension 6:41 despite having drawn the line I could not select the midpoint at center of circle how could I fix this, please help
@@anglegrinder I second this. His accent really isn't that strong, and he's perfectly understandable if you just have a tiny amount of patience to learn the accent a little.

Also would be great if the narrator didn’t have such a strong accent because it’s very hard to understand what he’s saying
@@justindundon4777 His accent really isn't that strong. The Indian accents just have a different cadence that you need to learn. Keep practicing.

Thanks for the video, just for info you forgot the fillet R4
Thank you for sharing, great explanation

same problem, did u solved?
@@SiyuanJi I was solved!!! Select Within Work Part and Components from Reset Filters menu. ^^ U can select edge.

Is there any NX videos without an Indian accent so I can understand what they are saying?
Work on your listening skills man, hes perfectly understandable despite the accent
