Yes, the Clipboard - love it! Wow, the split rows -gotta play with that one! But I really love the lyrics used! (I am certain you have enjoyed ‘Get Back’ on Disney+)
I thought you might notice the lyrics. Was going to do You've got to hide your love away but choose Help as it's much more known. I did enjoy Get back and it seemed to have given me a whole new perspective on them as a group and even more so as individuals.
@@ExcelOlympics - Yes, I was particularly surprised at just how much Paul was directing the group - even directing John!! I always knew Paul was very passionate at managing things with the band but I had no idea he was that much of a leader at the nuts and bolts level of getting everyone in synch with his vision. It was interesting to see. I love them ALL - even more now, I think! Keep those lyrics coming on your tutorials- adds some fun to the visuals! (I would have enjoyed your first choice of lyrics too😃)
Sorry for that although it's not necessarily a bad thing 😀. I would still pick a Beatles song over most others if I had to pick a song to get stuck in my head 😀.
@@ExcelOlympics Thanks... You have great content in your channel. I Just did subscribe to your channel . You got my hooked with all your tricks! Again. Thanks for sharing!
I must admit I paused the video and maybe you comment it later on. But you don't even have to rely on windows clipboard! Excel has its own clipboard and also allows you to do various control c's and then paste them all at once (or one by one if you wish, in no particular order). And Excel's clipboard does not reset even if you close the application (unless you reset it)
That is true Ruben. The fact it resets is not pleasant but here is the key for me. This also works in Power Query editor 😀 and that my friend is a win in my book. And it also works across applications.
Hi and thanks +++ 1. For the Bonus Tip - Power Query, I am not a big fan of taping a Formula: =Excel.CurrentWorbook I try to avoid the Blank Query and I start Power Query ''from Other Sources'': from a Selection or from a Table, and everything is well adjusted 2. For Splitting and Special Delimiter, we may use words and names as Delimiter a, or, and, of, ... Ex.: Splitting '' from a Selection or from a Table '' with Delimiters: ''a '', and 'or '' We have this Result: from Selection from table PS with WORD as delimiter I tape the WORD and CTRL+ SPACEBAR, to add a space at the end the word. ( because, withe the word fORrmidable, Power Query will split after the 'segment 'or'': We have this Result: F midable 😄
Hi and thanks for the tips, the clipboard manager & split-to-rows definitely looks super helpful (I guess we could also trim in the same query)! See you in your next videos ;)
I don't know when this was added, but if you hit Control C twice, a Clipboard panel will appear on the left of the window. If that doesn't work, click on the Expand corner of the Clipboard section of the Home tab to show it and click on Options at the bottom left of the panel and enable "Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl+C Pressed Twice". All of the items you did Ctrl C with will appear in a list. Clicking on one will paste it. It's especially useful when you have a section of a formula that you need to repeat a lot - in the Formula bar select the section of the formula you'll need again and click Copy. You can then Paste just that portion of the formula as needed. It's a lot quicker and easier than using Windows V. The Split by Rows was a great tip!
Hi Will. No, I certainly don't. I think the level of proficiency and absence of apparent dialect are rising fast here in Slovenia and I guess all over the world.
Split by rows! That one's a jewel! Thanks for sharing.
Split into rows.. hadn’t spotted that one- thank you 🙏 😊
You are very welcome Mertin. May it be a great addition to your Excel game 😀.

Now I have an ear bug. I love that song!

Superb definitely will use it. Gr8
Thank you for those kind words Shoaib.
Thanks Gasper. Great tips. I forget to use them. Thanks for reminding how useful they are. Thumbs up!!
Thanks Wayne. Means a lot.
Thanks for another great post!
Thanks for the kind words.
This was an amazing trick. Already tried.. works great..
Great to hear that Jazzista. And keep on rocking ( or jazzing 😀)

Sounds great Jerry. Gotta try it ASAP 😀
Awesome 👍 tip! I can't tell you how many times I've pressed Ctrl+C instead of Ctrl+V!
We've all been there Cary.
You can also use windows V get the full context of the copy that you copied over
Thanks for that addition Remy.
Yeah, this is dope.
Thanks Michael.
