Huge fan of La nuit de l'homme as well as Aventus, fantastic fragrances and always tend to draw unsolicited compliments. I used to enjoy spice and wood but after a while I realised it was too reminiscent of my grandmothers cupboard lol so couldn't wear it again. Great video as always Clemence :)

I used to have Laylati and Allegro however they always seemed a bit challenging to wear so I didnt try others from the line. Tried them both in winter as well as clubbing and the power as well as smell just drowned people out, could never find a right situation to wear them in unfortunately

For me: tom ford -oud wood, amouge reflection man, lalique encre noire, memo- winter palace (definitely recommend this one, I literally wanna eat this one 😆), dolce and gabbana- light blue intense for women, serge lutens- Chergui, dior homme intense, dolce and gabbana the one edp... i also layer oud wood with some and get lots of compliments

I agree with most of your opinions and just purchased 30ml of Tuxedo so I hope I like it :-) I usually get compliments when I've just recently applied a fragrance, so my compliments have been pretty random, but the biggest reactions I can remember were from Tuscan Leather and Original Santal.
I know right, Dior Sauvage is a cold, bit metallic scent, not Sexy or Sensual like Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. In my Oppinion Sauvage is perfect Business Scent.

Well it's quite feminine with the floral tone but still have a slight woody undertone ! Well unisex would be if you can't determine the genre, it's usually a smart and perfect blend between citrus-woods-florals

Oh frenchies love classic ! A nice Allure Homme sport from Chanel can be really nice and evening you can go for your best sexy fragrance haha, something like grand soir from MFK for example!
My most complimented fragrances may be boring but they have been consistent. These fragrances are: Bleu de Chanel EDP, Versace Dylan Blue, Versace Pour Homme, Versace Eros Flame(surprisingly), YSL’s La Nuit de L’homme and Parfums de Marly’s Layton. Oddly I am one of those few people who have never once received a compliment on Creed Aventus. Some have asked me if my fragrance is new or asked what it was, but if I ask what their thoughts are, they will always say that it’s good, but not as good as whatever I wore beforehand (usually something from the above list).
Ha it's not boring it's good value fragrances ! And trusty ones I really found that's the most classic and popular scents were the most complimented indeed Thanks for sharing it !
Amouage Reflection man is a masterpiece Clemence. People talk negative about it because is not a beastmode. What a term. People choose bombastic scents instead of the actual scent. An interesting video to do on this subject maybe.

I dont use Aventus but I have an Aventus Cologne oil from a famous page , definitely smells good, I get a lot of compliments... I dont like the smell of pineapples , so I find Aventus Cologne a more pleasing thing. Smells similar to the original, which is great. My most complimented fragance is... Fahrenheit Aqua. Aventus Cologne oil is 2nd. Le Male is 3, Armani Pour Homme is 4, Dior Homme Intense is 5. Almost everybody I know loves 3 & 4 , no doubts about these

I’m dying to get my hands on Reflection Man. All I want right now is a good unisex leaning masculine floral fragrance 😕. Oh, and even though I don’t wear it often Dior Sauvage is my most complimented, by far. Followed by Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, as I wear it frequently
I had the worst comments with La Nuit de L'Homme 🤣 seems like it's not for my skin... On the other hand Bleu the Chanel EDP works like nothing else for compliments! It's a kind of magic!
I used to wear Allure in the early 2000s my wife is always asking me why I don’t use it anymore (tbh I am frustrated with the lack of longevity). Lately my most complimented fragrances have been Under my skin, Oud for Greatness and Musc ravageur (all very powerfull). I think one of the keys to get compliments is that people can actually smell the fragrance :)

Nice, Reflection man is my scent for today. I love Creed spice and wood. Compliments? Ok, it's nice to get some compliments but I will NEVER buy fragrance just because it is a compliments getter. I love to wear Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand soir and Naxos Xerjoff 1861. Sadly everytime I wear them I get many negative comments but I don't care, simply because I enjoy them :)

YSL’s private range needs much more attention in my opinion. Always seems to be overlooked on TH-cam compared to the likes of Chanel and Dior. Shame because they have some pretty decent fragrances in that collection.
I almost never get compliments on my perfumes. Maybe my skin is eating everything up within 30 minutes and I need to spray more... but it’s very very upsetting :(
Well thought out list.....they say Moustache eau de parfume is very comparable to Tuxedo at a lower cost HAVE YOU TRIED IT? Btw Be careful turning your head you may hurt yourself with those earrings but of course that is the CROSS one has to bear for looking fashionable. ;)
Love when someone discovers Tuxedo. For me the GOAT. Guys, if you want to treat yourself, forget anything Creed has to offer, this is leagues above it. Absolutely superb stuff.
Projection and longevity are ultra subjective as it depends on many factors , it might not work on you but according to what I read it works for many people. Including myself !
Ah yes, I have ONE of these from this list (the TF). My nuclear weapon for the winter. It is one of the Gods. Especially in Japan where almost no one wears fragrances. But every time I go to a TF boutique, the lady (different one each time) always recommends Tobacco Vanille for a man.

My most complimented fragrances may be boring but they have been consistent. These fragrances are: Bleu de Chanel EDP, Versace Dylan Blue, Versace Pour Homme, Versace Eros Flame(surprisingly), YSL’s La Nuit de L’homme and Parfums de Marly’s Layton.
Oddly I am one of those few people who have never once received a compliment on Creed Aventus. Some have asked me if my fragrance is new or asked what it was, but if I ask what their thoughts are, they will always say that it’s good, but not as good as whatever I wore beforehand (usually something from the above list).
Ha it's not boring it's good value fragrances ! And trusty ones

Amouage Reflection man is a masterpiece Clemence. People talk negative about it because is not a beastmode. What a term. People choose bombastic scents instead of the actual scent. An interesting video to do on this subject maybe.
Ah ! You're so so right indeed, it's the trend of the moment to only go for "beast mode" fragrance, it's a shame because they are beautiful elegant and refined scent out there.

I dont use Aventus but I have an Aventus Cologne oil from a famous page , definitely smells good, I get a lot of compliments... I dont like the smell of pineapples , so I find Aventus Cologne a more pleasing thing.
Smells similar to the original, which is great.
My most complimented fragance is... Fahrenheit Aqua. Aventus Cologne oil is 2nd. Le Male is 3, Armani Pour Homme is 4, Dior Homme Intense is 5. Almost everybody I know loves 3 & 4 , no doubts about these

Rasasi Hawas, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, JPG Ultra Male + Le Male they will all get you LOADS of Compliments, especially younger Girls (18-29) LOVE them.

I’m dying to get my hands on Reflection Man. All I want right now is a good unisex leaning masculine floral fragrance 😕. Oh, and even though I don’t wear it often Dior Sauvage is my most complimented, by far. Followed by Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, as I wear it frequently

I used to wear Allure in the early 2000s my wife is always asking me why I don’t use it anymore (tbh I am frustrated with the lack of longevity). Lately my most complimented fragrances have been Under my skin, Oud for Greatness and Musc ravageur (all very powerfull). I think one of the keys to get compliments is that people can actually smell the fragrance :)

Compliments? Ok, it's nice to get some compliments but I will NEVER buy fragrance just because it is a compliments getter. I love to wear Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand soir and Naxos Xerjoff 1861. Sadly everytime I wear them I get many negative comments but I don't care, simply because I enjoy them :)

My most complimented fragrance was Tentations by Paloma Picasso I had to get my friend to buy it for me from the UK at the time because it was never released in Australia the other one is Noir de Noir by Tom Ford
I absolutely LOVE Bleu de Chanel I remember buying it for my friend in 2010 when I visited him in Provence l absolutely love Tobacco Vanille & Chanel Allure homme EDT the sexiest most sophisticated scent on a put together man I can see a JFK jnr kind of guy rocking it
Musc ravageur would be one I would definitely wear as I've heard it being similar to Meharees by L'erbolario which I love

YSL’s private range needs much more attention in my opinion. Always seems to be overlooked on TH-cam compared to the likes of Chanel and Dior. Shame because they have some pretty decent fragrances in that collection.

I almost never get compliments on my perfumes. Maybe my skin is eating everything up within 30 minutes and I need to spray more... but it’s very very upsetting :(

Well thought out list.....they say Moustache eau de parfume is very comparable to Tuxedo at a lower cost HAVE YOU TRIED IT? Btw Be careful turning your head you may hurt yourself with those earrings but of course that is the CROSS one has to bear for looking fashionable. ;)

That's an oxymoron.
Projection and longevity are ultra subjective as it depends on many factors , it might not work on you but according to what I read it works for many people. Including myself !

Ah yes, I have ONE of these from this list (the TF). My nuclear weapon for the winter. It is one of the Gods. Especially in Japan where almost no one wears fragrances. But every time I go to a TF boutique, the lady (different one each time) always recommends Tobacco Vanille for a man.
