Colaps is technical, and you value rythm and musicality over other things when you get to try it, and know how hard it is to do what he or others do, you value it a lot more (trust me, like a loooot)
People arent going to like this one. But youre not wrong at all lol. The ones you didnt like were boring. At the time they were performed they were actually insane. but now beatbox has developed so much in like 2 years to where none of this stuff sounds that good anymore. To someone who doesnt beatbox, they would say that it is boring because they dont understand how technically challenging his beat is, which is a fair opinion to have. But if youre watching a battle and saying thats boring is just ignorance
For the topic of the judges boredness. In fact, you do not see into their mind to make a state about how they thinking about an actual beat. They don't have to show so much strong emotions to let us know if they feel it and are amazed, or not. Most of the times they pay so much attention to little details we don't even notice, they are concentrating so much. And I like it more if a judge is paying more attention and makes a full professional decision than just voting after their feels of the performance. Thats why I like Dharni as a judge, he was the most "bored" one
If you do not make beatbox colaps can be hard to understand and follow, in my case, over the years it has become one of my favorites due to his amazing techniques, there are from another planet.. , the last round of the video and his elimination were awesome for me.
I mean, I was really confusee when he complains about the beat from colaps and others. cuz he was not doing this for the mainstream audience. obviously the crowd loved it. it's ok to not like it, but it's not really nice to call an artist boring. cuz it's easy to be understood as calling an artist bad. I'm just pointing out that some content should be expressed more clearly to avoid misunderstanding
I would love to see you reacting to SAM PERRY’S GBB 2019 SHOWCASE, you can split it in 2-3 videos I fucking don’t care I just feel like you’ll like it, it’s definitely an energetic show that is also interesting to listen to. Hope my dream will come true. Peace

I don't even really consider Sam Perry to be in the same category as any other looper, not even gene or saro...he's so much more than a looper. His vocal range with that rasp plus his ability to compose and perform... And I think that's why he gets overlooked all the time. He's just not a regular looper. And I love Saro and Brez and Robin, like listen to then at least once a day. Each one of them have a couple tracks that are just meh for me, but Sam has sang a damn thing that wasn't perfect.
Whoever made this compilation has terrible taste, almost every person in this vid has much MUCH Better stuff out there. Check Dlow Vs Zekka from SBX kickback if you want to see something less disappointing! Its a great battle! Its 9 minutes of two of the best beatboxers on the planet killing it!

@@Shayce agree, colaps is one of the best beatboxers of the world, and maybe if you don’t know too much about beatbox you can’t understand him
@@Shayce even if someone doesn't know much about beatbox, still he/she can feel collaps's flow. His flows are one of the "bounciest" IMO.
