I was there! It was my first ever Breeders' Cup event and it was so so magical.
3 Irish trained and bred winners and a British trained Irish bred winner, pretty good from the old country.
My favourite was Tuesday
They own the turf. I hit the turf with Rebel's Romance every which way. Pick 3, double, win, place, trifecta, exacta... Biggest win of my life at the horses.
Most fun I have ever had at the track save the Kentucky derby.

That's not how it works. That's like saying that at 10:20 , that if the race was only a half mile, #8 would have won? Horses don't just all take off sprinting out of the gate and run as fast as they can as far as they can. Horses (jockeys) adjust their speed to get to the FINISH LINE first. That is the object. Not to be "closing fast at the end and come up short". Going back to my example. At 10:20, according to you, the #8 would have won if the race were 1/2 mile because he was leading at 1/2 mile. Not the way it works. The other horses would have been trying to get to the finish line first, and if the finish line was at 1/2 mile, they all would have been running differently to get there. Its not where you are the 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile and it's not if you "close ground". Its "get to the finish line first".
@@question_it_701 You took me way too literally. I am familiar with generally how you want to run a race, I worked as a horseman for Johnathan Sheppard, his horses always rated well and finished hard. The 3/8 pole is generally the "lets go" mark, where the jock figures out if their horse has the legs to contend and presses the whips. And not every horse is compliant to "rating" early in races. Lower tier claimers are occasionally just horses who can only run 5 1/2 furlong sprint races because they fight the bit.
That's why I bet horses to place because some horse just flies up late and catches the pack that's raced each other down some.

Fantastic track. Hangout near the paddock, try the bourbon bread pudding. The hot dog has really good topping, like a beef stew. Make reservations to tour Claiborne farms. That was my biggest mistake. Now I have to go back! :)

I insist from his first race, champion of champions, return to the track of honor and respect, imposing sculpture racecourse entrance, incorporate among the best 100 non-human athletes of the century, place him third after man o'war and Secretariat best 100 horses of the century . Speed figures are faster than Secretariat in all but one race. Secretariat average margin of victory at 1.25 miles is 2 3/4 lengths. Flightline's average margin is 14 lengths. Flightlines largest margin of victory at 1.25 miles is 19 3/4. Secretariats is 3 1/2. Secretariats average margin of victory at 1 mile is 3 1/4 lengths. Flightlines is 11. LOL. There's one in every crowd. Someone name drops Secretariat to try to sound smart. Makes you sound naive though. It's okay. The general public does it all the time. Oh, and Secretariat lost 25% of his races. So...there's that. LOL. I'm not saying Flightline was better. I'm saying there are stats that says he is. I just get sick of people like you that know nothing about horse racing, sitting in the corner of the room that blurt out Secretariats name every time a good horse appears. Don't do it. Again, it makes you look like you are clueless. You're welcome.

Cyberknife s jockey should have had a Stewart's inquiry. Horses have been disqualified in USA for less than that.
I don't care what race FlightLine runs in after been babied and given special race with weak competition. Barring the Breeders cup as his best race and the Pacific Classic..The Amazing Stamina monster Secretariat stands very tall at the top and The incomparable Cigar was destroying everything on dirt for 16 straight wins with ten (10) group one victories.Therefore ,the hype can always be disputed for racing ages.
Cigar that's funny . Ran back east came to cal lost twice . There's no doubting on secretariat the best ever .
Everyone has their opinion but give me Tom Durkin or Trevor Denion everrytime over this race calling
Well let me add my admiration to your choices,most definately I love Tom Durkins as a very sharp commentator on horses color cloth and his ability to build up the race flow to a magnificent finish.Then on the other hand Trevor Denman will give you all the excitement from the very beginning and he his adaptable to what's going on at the finish. Sheer mark of two genius commentators at the very top of the competition in Horse races.

How can people say flight line is Better than da two last triple crown horses by bob BAFFERT American Pharaoh n justify both horses went on to win da breeders Cup at 3yrs old da same year after winning da triple crown races . Flight line didn’t even run in d triple crown races ever n now at 4 yr old yes he run undefeated n win da BC CUP . DA OWNERS SHOULD TAKE HIM TO DUBAI CUP BIG RACE .
Justify did not win the Breeders Cup. He retired after the Triple Crown.
Flightline COULDN'T run in the Triple Crown races. Severe injuries prevented him from running as a two and three-year-old. From what we've seen in his stunning performances in all six races he's run as a four-year-old I don't think there's any way, sort of an accident, that he wouldn't have been the 2022 Triple Crown winner.

The "Sport of Kings" has been around for far longer than most sports and most certainly will not be going anywhere anytime soon.
That being said, I will not deny that there are certain things in need of change, such as the inhumane running of a filly or colt before their bones have even finished developing, however, there IS progress being made with the health and safety of these magnificent creatures in mind and I have my fingers crossed with the hopes that this sport will only continue to better itself.
As far as torture goes, the only torture occurring around here is you willfully and intentionally tormenting yourself by deliberately clicking on a video of something that you are not fond of. 🤦🏻♀️
