Lol and thats how my love for kitana began. Lol i also love mileena as well and jade. When i saw mileenas face...i was like wtf??? Why is she so ugly? Why does she look like baraka? Lol mind you i was like 8 or 9 years old. But when i played her, i loved her roll move and her off screen kick. I was like wow! Shes pretty good in battle! Lol! I love Kitana as my best friend. But Jade has always held a soft spot in my heart. She's not the main protagonist, but she is the much needed support for them, one who can be trusted and relied upon without being constantly in the spotlight. The sidekick. I've always connected to Jade better for these reasons ever since I first spotted her in the Living Forrest with Smoke in MK2.
She tends to be tied with Scorpion as my favorite MK character. But while I would buy an MK without Scorpion, I would not buy a MK without Kitana. It's either her or Scorpion I play first.
Dude you're a legend for this... I was waiting for this one. Also I've always liked her story cause it has so many layers. Since her birth it's always been a mystery one after another. On one side you have her relationship with her foster father and her journey to becoming a leader of Edenia. On another end is her journey that seemingly parallels that of Liu Kang with the two pretty much finding each other and changing each other through their love and affection towards each other. Liu Kang learning over time that there's more at stake that just the safety of Earth Realm and Kitana realizing that what she was doing was a lie. That's why I've always loved their story and why I want them to be together so bad in Mortal Kombat 11

Kitana is my favorite character in all of MK. I am INCREDIBLY excited for her MKXI appearance. The intro dialogue in the fight with D'Vorah seems to suggest a throwback to the more heroic version of the character than her MKX version, where even the non-revenant Kitana was somewhat cold-blooded. Part of me really wants to believe her MKX arcade ladder was canon; if anyone deserves a chance to pound Shao Kahn into the ground, it's the woman who has lost everything to him again and again. Design-wise (yeah, I'm THAT gay), I love her new costume. It looks regal AND badass in a way I don't think any of her past appearances ever quite achieved.. The only thing I'm not QUITE sold on is the hair, but then I've never been a fan of the female ninjas' updos except in UMK3. Her weapon was what initially drew my attention. I'm always a fan of new and interesting weapon designs, and her bladed war fans have always been so intrinsic to her, both graceful and absolutely devastating. MK11 looks to be doubling down on both, and I'm super excited.

Jade is my favorite out of the three. I played with her a lot in MK9. I always thought she was cool, even when she was introduced in the 90's. I liked that she could run through projectiles and do big damage with her staff. She was initially a secret hidden character which made her even cooler. I always really liked Jade.

I love Kitana as my best friend. But Jade has always held a soft spot in my heart. She's not the main protagonist, but she is the much needed support for them, one who can be trusted and relied upon without being constantly in the spotlight. The sidekick. I've always connected to Jade better for these reasons ever since I first spotted her in the Living Forrest with Smoke in MK2.

She tends to be tied with Scorpion as my favorite MK character. But while I would buy an MK without Scorpion, I would not buy a MK without Kitana. It's either her or Scorpion I play first.

Also I've always liked her story cause it has so many layers. Since her birth it's always been a mystery one after another. On one side you have her relationship with her foster father and her journey to becoming a leader of Edenia. On another end is her journey that seemingly parallels that of Liu Kang with the two pretty much finding each other and changing each other through their love and affection towards each other. Liu Kang learning over time that there's more at stake that just the safety of Earth Realm and Kitana realizing that what she was doing was a lie. That's why I've always loved their story and why I want them to be together so bad in Mortal Kombat 11
Yeah I hope her and liu kang make it out in the end. Possibly they can have a child and we’ll have a prodigy playable in mk12??

Kitana is my favorite character in all of MK.
I am INCREDIBLY excited for her MKXI appearance. The intro dialogue in the fight with D'Vorah seems to suggest a throwback to the more heroic version of the character than her MKX version, where even the non-revenant Kitana was somewhat cold-blooded.
Part of me really wants to believe her MKX arcade ladder was canon; if anyone deserves a chance to pound Shao Kahn into the ground, it's the woman who has lost everything to him again and again.
Design-wise (yeah, I'm THAT gay), I love her new costume. It looks regal AND badass in a way I don't think any of her past appearances ever quite achieved.. The only thing I'm not QUITE sold on is the hair, but then I've never been a fan of the female ninjas' updos except in UMK3.
Her weapon was what initially drew my attention. I'm always a fan of new and interesting weapon designs, and her bladed war fans have always been so intrinsic to her, both graceful and absolutely devastating. MK11 looks to be doubling down on both, and I'm super excited.

Hey, did you guys know Kitanas name stemmed from a name for a fox. Thatd what the guys in the Kombat Kast said. Also, she was supposed to be Shang Tsungs daughter, and whoever won the tournament would take her hand in marriage. But thatd just what the guys @ the Kombat Kast said.
Her name Kitana means Kitsune meaning fox lady or fox spirit and her fans and bo resembles something which I forgot

Kitana is bae and queen, she is a baddie and an amazing character. I think they really kinda destroyed her in mk11 because of the ridiculous nerd she got. Kitana is my go to character. Although jade and melina are tied for second, my true character is kitana, PERIODT
Jade is my favorite out of the three. I played with her a lot in MK9. I always thought she was cool, even when she was introduced in the 90's. I liked that she could run through projectiles and do big damage with her staff. She was initially a secret hidden character which made her even cooler. I always really liked Jade.
