MASSIVE! Junjo's my hero, but it's tough to find good info on him. I cannot wait for this to drop! RIP Badman!

@blackwolverine1 thanks! I have been looking for that book for a long time, no luck yet. I did buy the 2CD/DVD Junjo Lawes set advertised here, and it is awesome. Great quality footage of Volcano Sound at Skateland 84!
dziękuje Ci stary. Thank you for that Man.

Is there a track listing for this CD set?
Volcano Always Ram The Session
@hostileroots there is a book i think called "reggae dancehall" that far preceded this video and is published by blackstar u would have to google for more info i don't know if it's still in print.
TENGO QUE VERLA
@hostileroots keep looking brethern as a matter of fact there is an excellent book i picked up called "the rough guide of reggae 3rd edition" by steve barrow and peter dalton. The book covers early jamaican music from the days of coxsone dodd to african reggae it's a must read for any reggae lover it even gives you a discography of required albums to listen to from that particular era another book to check out is "the virgin encyclopedia of reggae" by Colin larkin.
@ZionNeo1 i couldn't agree with u more it's no different from the bullshit rap music now being played on "so called real hip hop commercial radio", a peer fuckery this new generation of listeners r hearing today. We got to do our part by educating the youths of today about where real music comes from.
Hi there I am trying to find the specific track at the start of the video with all of the Alibs and dub fx
Anyone know if the Josey Wales tune on the Robber Man riddim was ever released, or if the tapes still exist somewhere? (see the "Josey Wales Studio Session Junjo Lawes" video, the Scientist hands and some Junjo footage in this vid is from that session when it was recoreded for tv)
big artists covered, unique early style!
R.I.P junjo lawes big producer!

Junjo was a genius. Who killed him and why?
