    I think that the black Rode NT1 microphone gives you the best audio quality in the studio. Keep up the good work!

    You’re such a legend! Can you do a tutorial on you would boom the rode ntg up? So it’s out of frame and maybe how you get the audio so crisp?

      @@seandewispelaere I’m currently repping the NTG5. It’s amazing for interviews and controlled environment setups. I’m going to have to look into the NTG video mic now though for ambience. I agree though, Rode punches well above its weight class.

    Great video! Do you use a preamp or audio recorder? If so which one? Keep up amazing content🤘🏽

      Hey Aryan, thank you - yea I use the Zoom H5 and a cloud lifter. Full gear list should be in the comments as well. I think I need to add the cloud lifter to it though.

    Great video Sean!! Is the videoic NTG good with a7siii preamp ?? or do I need external sound recorder for that??

    • @seandewispelaere
      @seandewispelaere 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks and I think the preamps are more than suitable but having an external recorder can add some versatility

    I’m just getting into audio. Would the Rode NTG be a good wildlife mic? I’m looking for a mic to mount onto my A1. It’s strictly used outdoors. Wildlife, outdoor family fun, etc. No vlogging yet.

      I don't have a ton of experience with wildlife audio but I think that it will do as well as any reasonably priced mic that is intended to be on top of of the cam

    why avoid lav mics at all costs?

      I hate dealing with them in general. Mostly due to how they look and hiding them without getting feedback annoys me. A lot of people do well with them though!

    Ever since I first came across your channel something about your "image" had been bugging me but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Until 5 minutes ago when I decided to download one of your videos.
    Dude!!! 30fps?? as a videographer?? Really?

    • @seandewispelaere
      @seandewispelaere 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Fener, yea I found that I like 30p for my YT videos as I shoot a lot of fitness stuff and tend to prefer 30p for the majority of those videos. I do shoot 24p for a lot of projects and might jump around on that a bit, but for now I'm liking what I am getting.
      Also, you can right click a video and select "stats for nerds" and see the frame rate 😉
      Thanks for checking out and I hope that all is well on your end
