  • Sensory Walk 👣 ages 1+ 👣 Sensory walks are so much fun! We have done several and my boys have such a blast every time I set one up!Materials needed:8 large bins (we found these at Target)Water beadsFlourRiver RocksBubble wrapShaving creamFood coloringSticksWaterTowelI thought a long time about what order to put the bins in to try and minimize the mess, but since the boys went through it multiple times there was really no chance of that happening. Here's the order we used:1. Rocks - We used smooth black river rocks.2. Bubble wrap3. Water beads - These need to be prepped about 6 hours in advance. Simply add a bunch to a tub of water and let them grow. (I had plans to play with these after but they were so dirty I had to toss them so you may want to make these a day or so before if you want to do other activities with them.)4. Flour5. Red warm water - We added red food coloring to some warm water.6. Sticks from our yard7. Shaving cream - This was our m siesta bin, but also the most fun too! The boys kept adding more shaving cream and ended up just playing with it and getting it everywhere once the walk was done!8. Blue cold water - We added blue food coloring to a bin of cold water.I added a towel at the end for them to dry their feet off with.🌈 This activity was such a hit they told all their friends about it and are already asking if we can do it again!

We do lots of simple science experiments, math games and craft projects mostly with items you can find around the house. I’m not a particularly crafty person and I don’t have a lot of time to do complex projects so I always try to keep things simple. My goal is to foster a love of learning and keep them entertained and interested at the same time. I hope you enjoy our channel!
