@@SOULular it is, and you're right. I just listened to the original, and it was indeed there. a bit hard to hear, but it is there
The choirs were always there, just brought forward. Along with the screams and other effects and harmonies were brought forward a lot in the mix. Also the Freddy laugh at the beginning was brought forward significantly. Also they cut the first chorus entirely. And yeah, the vocals are more Roboty

Weird, not a single soul spoke during the entire movie at the one I went to, no cosplays or anything either... it was weirdly just like every other movie theater experience I've ever had. there was barely anyone talking, much less yelling. nothing too special...😞
I got a feeling Living Tombstone is honored to have their song in the movie.
Dang right they deserve it plus this give me mid 2010’s nostalgia before the movie was announced and before Scott retired.

When this song played in the end credits of the movie, (I watched the movie at home on Peacock.) I CRIED TEARS OF JOY. ❤🥲 I was NOT expecting The Living Tombstone song to play at the end of the movie! I watched the movie three nights ago, AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I cried tears of nostalgia. (And sadness because this movie was Scott's final project before his official retirement to say goodbye to fnaf.)

Something I've realized, the animatronics in the games just seem like normal animatronics with a dark side, but these lyrics mention "An impostor took our life away", "Please let us get in, don't lock us away, we're not like what you're thinking", "We're poor little souls who have lost all control", and "Join us, be our friend". They fit more with the animatronics in the movie, who are poor little souls possessing giant robots.
The dynamics are the same between movie continuity and game continuity, but yes, the fat that they're explored more in the movie makes this song more fitting for the movie
After watching the movie twice, and understanding the context of the characters, this song REALLY fits the plot of the movie.👍
My theater was pretty quiet throughput. But the loudest i heard us was when matpatt showed up, hushed whispers and tiny squeals. And it happened again when this played. I think we would've been louder if it weren't for the fact we were all worried about others and theater etiquette.
In my theater, everybody was laughing, clapping and screaming because of this music, William Afton scene, springlock, and other thing.

Been a fan of this franchise since around mid to late 2016 and my love for this franchise has only grown through the years. Enjoyed the movie a lot and when I heard this during the credits, I very nearly started crying.
As a fan of this franchise since before the release of the demo for FNaF 2, this movie meant a LOT to me. And hearing this song as the credits just made it so much more special.

Perfectly Summarizes everything that happened in this movie, from Mike getting a job, having those dreams, Abby getting attached to the animatronics, The Break In, The Murders, Meeting and confronting William Afton, Afton getting Springlocked, Afton getting hidden away in that closet.

This song aged like wine, no matter how complicated the lore got. I'm glad it was included in the credits, it deserved it 100%

@Scarde0 he was supposed to be the guard, but since he was working on iron lung, the schedule was tight, so he didn't get to be in the movie

Something I have noticed: in the song it says "since 1987" and we know that the children actually died in 1985 (at least in the games). Is this something unimportant or is it that in the movie it was changed so that the children can die in 1987?
It’s actually lore important because 1987 during that time was the event of “The Bite of 87” when Fredd bear bite Afton’s younger son

1987 is where a guard got bitten, presumably either by mangle or toy bonnie
Keep in mind this song was made before the second game was released. Literally all anybody knew about lore at that point was that five kids were dead and possessing the suits, and that something happened in 87 where someone (probably Foxy) bit someone's frontal lobe off. The year the kids died, who the killer was, that was all completely unknown. In fact, for a long time one of the prevailing theories was that the animatronics _weren't even possessed_ in the first place. It wasn't until the second game was released that it was confirmed
I can say that FNAF song isn't indie anymore. It became official when Scott add it in movie and I love it.
