They actually changed the name of STD' s to STI's or at least created another category to label them properly. Cuz some of them are just infections that can be treated and cured with medication like gonorrhea & chlamydia. Diseases are life long conditions with no known cure like AIDS, but apparently no long HIV lol, Hepatitis whichever, and I think syphilis not sure though might have a cure for that now.
After another listen and making sure to catch the line he was almost definitely talking about a Subaru which is still cool. One of my favorite lines of cars coincidentally. And could be an unintentional double though if she had an STI, infection, not sure she'd still be wife to him lol.
