Recently she turned down , Sony Music, the third major Recording Company, she has said no too! They are all to restrictive and she would be greatly limited to how much ,Charity and Church music she could do! Also since her cancer surgery and tainted blood transfusion( giving her Hepatitis) her immune system was greatly weakened and from mid 20-4 to mid 2019 she had pneumonia 8 times in the 5 years! So a gruelling concert regime would not be wise! Though some of her Masterpieces like, You Raise Me Uo. We’re done, against Doctors advice while still not recovered from one such bout with the lung infection! She is also a published , Fantasy Novel Author, and Author of several Christian books! I think Sohyang is about a famous as she wants to be. Fame and fortune isn't her motivation. She is a unique human being. Her heart is as beautiful as her face and she just wants to bring joy to people with her singing. You should read her back story then react to 'Everyone'. She sings in her native language although part of it is in English. You don't need subtitles.... you can feel the emotion just with her vocal performance. Sohyang isn't really Kpop, she is a CCM and gospel singer but sings other genres as well. Sohyang is well loved in South Korea but less well known outside of it because she is an independent artist. This is due to health and faith. large labels have tried to sign her and she has turned them down. Sohyang is a cancer survivor with some health issues like repeated bouts of pneumonia, especially during 2017-19. I would suggest checking her and the other artists out on Begin Again Korea which is a TV show where they went around busking SK during 2020.
