Im building a light using 40 Cree XT-E Royal Blue 5W Led Emitters would a CroLED 200W LED Driver Power Supply 12V 17A AC-DC work ok for this or should i jump to the 240w
It depends... What is the voltage of your LEDs? Once you know the voltage, you'll need to get either a 5V/12V/24V driver that can supply power to your lights.
Great video thanks! In the beginning you mentioned you had already found the right lights. Is there another video on that? I don't see it among the others I see.
Hi there! This is a great question, though I am afraid I must answer your question with another question… How much power does your 12v panel draw? If you bought the panel from us, then we can quickly tell, however if you purchased it elsewhere, you will need to get that information from the original supplier. The power supply mentioned is 12v / 2.1A which means it is a 25.2 Watt power supply (12v x 2.1A), so the max wattage you would want to power with it is 80% of that number, so I would say no more than 20 Watts.
Hi! Im from the Uk England, i will be using 240volt supply voltage. My question is im fitting 2, 50 foot waterproof RGB dream strips inside 2 Led channels to be sunk into the driveway. Im unsure of the power supply i need to power them. I will be fitting the power supply in the garage so i cant hear a cooling fan if needed. With this length, would i have to use 12v or 24v ??
It depends... What is the voltage of your LEDs? Different strip lights run on either 5V/12V/24V of DC power so you'll have to check with the manufacturer.

Pull the music back a bit more when he is talking but a very informative video
Thanks, we will keep that in mind for any future videos. We are glad you still enjoyed the video!
Subscribed. Cheers from New Zealand, and thanks for the great video. God bless.

Will a 10A power supply damage a 5M 5050 LED Strip and Controller?

What size psu for 8m of RGBW 12v 5050 that's 480 leds over the 8m
It really depends on how much wattage they draw.
