There's a line i know you've heard, because we're all heard it too the point of almost being cliché, "marry your best friend" So many, especially older, people when asked how too form a great and long lasting marriage say quite simply too build it on the foundation of a good friendship. But yet somehow, especially this generation, completely ignores this advice. They, as they tend too do, have overcomplicated it by oversimplification, saying you can be one or the other (romantic or friend) but rarely both. If love was a game, people are taking advice from people who don't even play, (the single advice givers of tik tok) and ignoring the seasoned champions. No wonder divorce rates are up and marriage rates are plummeting
