Since you eat mostly at work , what are your choices, how do you meet your daily nutrition goals, like a day of eating vegan goals, and if you take supplements . I think a lot of people would love to see that and don’t commit due to having a busy life and not having foods on hand. :)
Great video, Kyra! Here's a tip for people (like my husband) who can't bring themselves to get rid of their DVDs or CDs: get rid of the case and keep the actual disc! They make folders and boxes you can file them in. Once you get rid of the cases the DVDs and CDs hardly take up any room at all!
I have just done that with my DVDs and CDs was the best idea I had this year hard to believe how much space they are taking up now even throw out tape cases and kept the tapes everything is taking up so little space
Love this video! I already decluttered the items mentioned. A little testimony..I used to be a hoarder. I ended having to toss out a lot of makeup, skincare, nail polish, magazines, old toys, pens, and so much more. I must have wasted so much $. Now I'm a minimalist and love it! Definitely wouldn't get rid of my car manual. There's too much variety of similar cars. I feel like it would be more of hassle to find my exact model online when i can just keep a small manual in the glove compartment of my car.
This is going to sound so weird, but look up empty box and manual sold listings on eBay. People that resell things buy them depending on the gadget box. You can make a little extra 💰 if you have the time. ❤️ Love your videos.
Regarding the nail polishes being clumpy,you can buy nail polish thinner and they will be good as new then you can donate or sell the ones you don't use...oh Kyra, iam such a freaking hoarder and really need to take out a whole bunch of stuff i really don't need its like my house is pretty organized and clean but i have a lot of things i have never used but i bet as soon as i get rid of it i will end up needing it.😑

Well done, Miss Kyra Ann! So informative....I broke out with pen and paper. Ready to declutter and bring in the new year. As for what I clutter the most (besides the usual: closet with clothes/shoes, unread books/magazines...wherever they'll fit "neatly")...is kitchen cabinets with tupperware! Especially because I prefer glass storage containers. Makes no sense, right! So inspired, I'm placing a few items in the donation box right now.
Walmart has a app... go to saving catcher you can scan your receipts and they will give you money back if they find a lower price!!! Its awesome! Thanks for the other tips. On my journey to being a minimalist.
isn't it a good idea to keep device manuals as proof of purchase for insurance companies incase you ever get robbed? my family was able to use manuals to get enough money from the insurance to rebuy our items that got stolen, including tvs and game consoles.

I think it would be great if you inserted some B-Roll while your talking. You could show us footage of you decluttering while you voiceover talking about it. In my home I constantly declutter my son's homework or completed projects he brings home. It isn't easy cause I guess it could be categorized as sentimental items depending on what it is so you might have a hard time parting with it. You still have to set limits on what to keep. Or my son could not want to get rid of certain things that I see no need in holding onto anymore. It piles up quick. I do it every other week cause keeping up with it weekly isn't always realistic in depending on how busy we are.

I'm with you on a hanger a huge pet of mine all my hangers match and even daughters I buy all of her hangers at the dollar store.
My kitchen table gets cluttered the most. It's where I put mail and stuff I don't want to deal with right away or things I don't have a home for. Lol! I try to declutter different areas every few months.

I'm the type that can't say no and I'm also very picky and I don't actually like receiving gifts. My kids and husband are the same but you feel obligated to accept them and then they just take up space until you finally get rid of them. My guilty pleasure are books, I'd have my own library full of books if I could.
Not everybody has a phone so it's nice to have magazines in a waiting room. Also, emailing bills? Never heard of this one before. Even if I don't want a bill, they'll print it, because it's illegal not to. Love to watch your videos, hope you make more soon :))
Depends more on the store or company . I get bill statements etc in emails & i try and set bill reminders so i can pay a day or two before the due date . But you can also ask them to recycle the paper and not take it . i always try to have it emailed its more convenient.
The manuals...yes LOL. I went through the ones I had and I had manuals for items that I no longer owned. I'm guilty of keeping shoes too...even ones that are uncomfortable and I never wear them. I think your amt of bedding sounds sufficient maybe one more sheet if you wanted but beyond that it sounds about right. This was a great video 😗 just in time to start fresh for 2019. Well i think i want to start decluttering monthly so im mindful of whats coming in and out of my space. Clutter wise paper the most and maybe toiletries but im try ing to cut that out and try the 1 in 1 out approach
I keep my nail polish in a ziplock in the refrigerator I've done this since I was 13 and it makes the polish last longer. I usually go through it once or twice a year and replace anything I don't like anymore or too old
I had the exact problem with pillowcases, i don’t know how or why but I ended up with 20 pillowcases so I got rid of 13 of them (gave them to relatives) and kept 7 and I am switching them out.
Love your videos and this is no different. You do ab excellent job explaining your subjects. I am so guilty of keep and collecting handbags and wallets. I love them and have too many. I sold five this past year and still have so many I don't use. I promised myself I would get rid of more this year. I donated several wallets and handbags to Goodwill in 2018 as well. I love them but need to save money so I promised myself I would not purchase any in 2019. Pray for me...lol!
have you tried getting spotify family? you pay about $15 a month and 6 people can use it! if you managed to find other people who are interested, you can totally try the spotify family plan! you can still keep your individual accounts, it's just 1 shared fee. and technically it's for family, meaning the address you provide has to be the same, but i do own spotify family with 5 other friends (who do not live with me lol) and we just have to ensure we key in the same address, which will be prompted, after switching to spotify family 😃
Oh my goodness, I have pens all over my house and I haven't bought pens in years. lol, I'm slowly using them up as I do write a lot. I did get rid of all the ones that I didn't like.
The CD/DVD thing isn't really a no-brainer. My family actually still plays CDs and DVDs we have had for years! We have a Bluetooth speaker that doubles as a CD player that we a TON and we also still have a DVD player for watching the movies we own and for movie rentals/movies from the library.
I really try to follow a rule that for every one new thing (other than food) that i bring into my house, I have to get rid of at least 2 things. I usually find more than 2 things lol . It's so cleansing.
I've been on my minimalist journey for about 3 yrs now. It's hard for others to understand your way of living. Especially when beginning to share a space with significant other. Lol

Yes, I claimed 2 years ago on insurance because I had the original manuals. I now save them.

My crafting supplies are the area that I keep the most of. I have lots of yarn, fabric, and beads.
