Ma aldilà del suo sarcasmo, va sottolineato che ha mantenuto il suo posto nel Labour Party per ben 45 anni dopo essersi ritirato pochi anni fa andando in pensione. Un politico senza peli sulla lingua, con le palle quadre, che non ha paura di dire la sua con delle arringhe che se le sognano stè pippe politically correct italiane, sono dei moscerini in confronto a certe persone di tale catatura.
