I did watch most of the 'live,' and now just catching up. I was interested to hear the outcome of your unfortunate situation. However, I'm still a little mystified! I don't have the 'chat' facility anymore, so no clue who says what! I did re-watch part of DS stream, and it appeared as though someone in the chat was trying to warn you that you were being 'watched.' How would they know is my question? I carefully checked the area, and could so no signs of anything untoward. However, I don't have a big screen! I heard an 'unseen' woman saying "we're happy to have you here," or words to that effect. Then the sound became distorted, and I couldn't hear rest of the conversation. I dislike not having a complete resolution! I enjoy reading psychological thrillers, and hate if the ending is 'up in the air.' Hopefully this will be the first and last time, that this type of situation occurs. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas, and a happy and healthy New Year.
Jeff, allow me to talk you from jumping off the bridge on this one. 1) Yes, you were wronged. It hurts, makes you angry, confuses you why a misinterpretation of what you do is not allowed a fair jury to hear your truth. 2) Let your analytical mind take over your emotions. Think along the lines of next steps. Contact Guest relations and maybe even their legal department, but before you do, both you and Angela need to sit down and write out in detail, everything that happened. Yes, the nicer, decent thing from the Disney rep would have been to hear your side of the story, then get back to the people who complained to clarify what you were doing/not doing. In my opinion, it looks like an opportunity for Disney to improve on its guest relations approach.
Let me also add a line from my favorite movie, The Godfather: “This isn’t personal, it’s strictly business.”. Proceed with this mentality and hopefully, you’ll get the results you want. Then, the emotional impact won’t sting.
Jeff Just An Idea Why Don't You Talk To A Solicitor, Let Them See The Footage Where You Did "NOTHING Wrong" I Will Add Then Let The Solicitor Personally Approach Disney & Let The Solictor "Throw Their Solicitors Book At Disney & Said "Disgraceful Cast Member & Security" As They Can "Get Them On A Whole Lot Of Technicalities" Where You & Wonderful Angela Are Concerned :) As That Is What "Our Family Solicitor" Did For Us Recently In Regard To What "Our Neighbour" (I Won't Mention Their Name) Did To Mother, Cassie (Our Bengal Cat) & Myself Lets Just Say "Said Neighbour Will NEVER Be Bothering Us Ever Again Thanks To "Our Family Solictor" :)
