For everyone saying this is a simple calculus problem and its not a big deal, these people aren't students. Heck, they probably didn't even go to schools that emphasized math since they're all in the fine arts categories (actors, singers, etc.). I, as a fine arts major, haven't taken calculus even in high school so I have no idea what this stuff was, as like many of the other "students" in the room. Besides, even if they learned it in high school, they're adults who haven't been studying it for a long time. We all forget things in subjects if they werent a priority, like calulus isnt a priority to people in fine arts. So, its impressive that Hani could solve that calculus problem (and I mean she didn't even think it was hard) since she is an adult singer who probably hasn't been studying calculus on a regular basis. I don't know, I think it shows she's really smart. So stop trying to belittle her and everyone else in the room by saying its "an easy problem". You're not better than them just because youre a student who knows some calculus. They all know a hell of a lot more things than you do about other subjects. 😐

I'm sure in your head you actually know it but your just not aware that you know. When you divide a number you basically make it smaller than the initial number right....I'm pretty sure intuitively you know that since you dividing the value infinite times, you're making it infinitely smaller than the original value so it will approach zero. It's either this or you're very young and haven't been introduced to the concept of division or infinity(forgive me then)
@@laroseschudeuki196 Uh well, yeah it makes sense but honestly I didn't get that the problem was a finite number divided by a infinite number from the problem on the board. I'm a sophomore in college studying music and haven't taken a math class since my junior year of high school and that was just precal so I don't remember all of the special symbols used to represent things. That doesn't mean I'm stupid or that people who didn't know it in this video are stupid (and I'm not insinuating that you're saying that! :)), we just haven't studied math for a while so we forget because its not a priority. I almost guarantee if you go up to any person out of high school who isn't a math major or have a career in math and show them this problem, they won't know how to solve it lol so its impressive to see when someone not in the math field remembers this terminology and symbols and can solve it.

I'm watching this after the controversy between AOA members. I found something really odd with Jimin's attitude.
1:17 Jimin was praised by the Teacher and her fellow 'classmates'. Her was very delightful.
2:07 Hani got the correct answer. Thus the teacher praised her and the whole class cheered for her. However Jimin was pouting and seems like she was unhappy with what happened.
2:22 Kangnam praised Hani and Jimin had the same expression (she was unhappy).
I don't know but she looks jealous. But I don't know the whole story, maybe she is just trying to focus and digest all of what the other people are talking. Just sharing. Have a good day!
I strongly believe Jimin has an attention issue prior before the controversy I alr felt she had one and I thot I was overthinking but it seems true. Firstly it’s hani gave Jimin the answer and when the teacher praising her she was so happy especially kangnam was praising her (kinda took hani’s credit for it) and u can see hani was humble about it. When it was hani’s turn for the praising Jimin’s face was so dark and didn’t bother to ‘act’ happy for her. It was the same during their Chinese class as well.

If you know your calculus and not stranger to limits, you wouldn't mistaken the "i" in between L and M to number 1.
Who puts number 1 between between L and M anyway? It's just her way of writing but doesn't necessarily means anything about being studious. She can be studious even without writing that way.

I used to not like her because of how she got popular just because of a fancam (sorry but I couldn't help it) but after watching her on running man and seeing more of her on the various shows, I can't help but love how she's more real than many of her fellow female idols(not referring to anyone in particular). Junior high? That means how old??
For Korea junior high (Sometimes called middle school) is typically Grades 7 through 9, so internationally that is age 13 to 15 give or take a year for kids that are a year ahead or behind due to where their birthday falls. High School is usually grades 10 to 12 and will be ages 16 to 18.

Living in the UK, I never came across calculus during GCSE mathematics, not a single person around me talked of it during those days. Do we call it another name or is it just taught in A-Level mathematics?
i think it depends on the path you choose. that wasn't calculus honestly it's just Pre-calculus and i would say its hmmm easy when you are familiar with it and not when you aren't. I've took Pre-Cal and Basic Cal. when I'm in 11th grade. so have you took it already since 1 year had passed already?
it’s taught in A-level but gcse further maths also touches on pre calc

EgyptianRage1 seems like they are learning about limits. It's pretty basic calculus. You are first given an algebraic expression, like y=1/x. Let's say you want to find out y will be as x get's bigger and bigger, or approach infinite. So in mathematical terms, you would write it as lim x -> oo (or the limit as x approaches infinite), like they did on the board. So from just plugging in bigger and bigger x value in the equation, you will see that y is getting smaller and smaller and approaches zero. so the answer would be y=0, or that the limit as x approaches infinite is zero.
the easiest shit in calculus, to be brief.
