The hole

  • you never know what crawls beneath. This sketch came from when I was a child or I should say, a memory I had when in California. Three friends from school and I decided to go down into a hole in the ground that led to some concrete passageways where we encountered a large garden snake and I mean a large one. We also encountered people who lived down there I, never really saw them. The only light was from the hole we came down and some small holes in the ceiling. Later on, I found out they were from manhole covers but the hole we went down was a washout hole from water that pulled down the rock and dirt from a broken main. Turns out we dropped down into an aqueduct of some sort where rainwater flows from the mountains to the ocean I remember how the dark really scared the shit out of us the people that were down there were making growling sounds and throwing things toward us until we finally crawled back out. (Kids, yeah I know.)

That’s not a bad idea. Need to look into that. Thanks for your comment. Love the idea. I do have most of my drawings at lunchtimegraphics.com under lunchtimegraphics. This one should already be posted there.
