What exactly Seahawks achieved for the last 4 seasons after Wilson got 2 huge contracts.......Seahawks become just an average team (look at all records) where no one cares about the team anymore and only cares about Wilson personal achievements - some of them good but some: like sacks per season, are Terrible.
Also, look how much time Wilson are in the game compare to Seahawks defense? He usually losses ball in 4-5 minutes and as a result he really sucks in 1st downs....

@@patriot1369 Not really, if you look at some of the core defensive players like Kam, Sherm, Avril, and Thomas-they suffered pretty significant injuries and were either not worth re-signing or forced to retire, and what you're saying doesn't really make sense because they have almost $60 million in cap space for 2020

He’s the definition of a motor. All the QBs that usually win bc their team is good can’t hold a candle to someone who practically is the team. He creates plays and wins like no other player we’ve ever seen. Ability for ability, stat for stat and impact for impact it’s hard for me to name 5 other guys in the history of the game that can compete with this guy. He’s the most underrated QB possibly ever.

I don’t care how many talking heads and fanboys playing NFL fantasy GM say that this RW3 trade is good for the Seahawks Org - you will always be my favorite QB. The joy, the excitement, the thrill, the wonder and the passion you brought to this franchise and it’s fan base will NEVER, EVER be forgotten.
I can see why the Seahawks made this move and, I hope there are other pieces to this jigsaw puzzle but only time will tell if this was the most sensible move for the Org. I’m not confident that JS and PC can catch ‘lightning in a bottle’ with an QB in the draft but hey, I’d love to be wrong.

Clearly he can, not trying to diss tho getting this far with a suppar defense our d-line pretty decent secondary is trash tho the defense scheme and tallet just is not there o-line not super great either and injury's worsened that and just about halved our production in the run game, the fact we made it this far and almost beat the Packers, could've happen to if the refs had eyes but in any case Russell Wilson is a human being and couldn't carry the team all the way but he is the real MVP he's not gonna get it because the NFL doesn't know what the word value means but we all know he is the 2019-20 season MVP

He did way more with way less than any other qb. Dude lost his run game, 2 TEs, already had the worst o line in the league and was playing with their backups, had the 27th ranked defense, a defense that allowed more yards than miami, and only tyler lockett and dk to work with in the end. A total of only 2 pro bowlers him included. Still managed to pull the highest rating on PFF for any QB for the season, and was able to win a playoff game. Imagine what he could do if seattle stopped trading back over and over and draft him some talent. By far, to me, the most impressive and underrated player in the league this season.

Seriously. Other than the one where Jimmy Graham was obviously short, the defense could NOT get off the field on 3rd down last night. I was pulling for Flowers all season, but at this point I think we have seen his best and we need to take a top-tier corner in the draft. Trevon Diggs from Bama or Paulson Adebo are both intriguing prospects, and Pete can work on the finer points of either of their games. If they refuse to draft a CB that high, Reggie Robinson from Tulsa, Stanford Samuels III from FSU or Lamar Jackson from Nebraska would be good late-round picks and would benefit from Pete's coaching. In fact, walterfootball.com specifically links Jackson to a Seahawks-style scheme. 6'3", 215, long, physical corner, does that ring any bells?

@@pollogaming919 Well wins aren't solely a QB stat but it wasn't like he did nothing for those wins (scored a TD on every drive @ LA, that 4th & 2 play @ Seattle, that 3rd & 11 pass to seal the game vs Arizona and the game winning drive vs San Fran). Same thing could be said for Mahomes' comebacks in every playoff game, despite comebacks being a whole team effort.

Exactly, but that’s why depth is important. You have to have guys on deck to where you don’t have to get someone who hasn’t played in actual games recently. That’s on Management but at the same time they have to execute with what they have and makes stops on defense. Everyone can improve but I wish they got this for Pete and Russ.

Cormel you have to be stupid, we have 4 rbs and 3 of the starting rbs got hurt. 4 is a lot of running backs of a 53 man roster. It’s unlikely to have your top3 running backs injured in a season, that’s not on Pete or anybody. It was just bad luck

So much respect for Wilson. He really did do almost everything for the Seahawks. As a Packers fan, I'm really dissapointed that he didn't even get the help he needed. If he did, it would have been one hell of a season for the Seahawks (possibly another SB win).

Part of the injury issues, for Dissly, have to do with Ivan Lewis (aka Ivan the Terrible). This guy is the team's Strength & Conditioning Coach, but he has a HORRIBLE track record of keeping teams upright and healthy!
I hope Lewis is gone, by the start of the first rookie training camp...

Tyler Lockett is so badass you just have confidence when the ball is thrown to him if it touches his hands it's going to be caught, but of course it's nice to have a sweet pass to lay it in there right!
He did it well, Russell Wilson played with that one of the best catches in the season.
Russel's been the definition of consistent his entire career, and has been utterly carrying the Hawks for 4 straight years. The fact he's only just now starting to get the recognition he deserves these last couple seasons shows the complete ignorance of the football community (and especially MVP voters) as a whole. -A Cardinals fan
Will disly played 2 games total his rookie season. This season he played up until the browns game and absolutely dominated with little NFL game experience. Imagine if he didn’t get injured. On top of being an excellent reciever he’s also an amazing blocker and would’ve provided Wilson with a lot more time to make the clutch plays that he can produce. Dissly was the key to Seattle making a deep playoff run. Adding on to that, Russ also lost Josh Gordon, several key components to his offensive line like Duane Brown and Justin Britt, his 1000 + yard rusher in Chris Carson, his back up tight end for several weeks Luke Willson and his 2nd string dynamic running back Rashad Penny. In the end it all fell to Russ carrying the heavy Load and taking this dissimilated team to the divisional round. He made the most with least, with a roster like this any other QB in the league wouldn’t have succeeded to the degree Russ has. Russ is a true leader. The total embodiment of what it means to be an NFL QB. Every kid in high school should try to emulate this man. THAT IS AN MVP.

I know Lamar is going to win MVP and I get it. Dude deserves it, seems humble. No hate. I like the guy. But something to think about, Russ does what he does with nobody. Man played down three running backs, three tight ends, three offensive lineman, best DT out 8 games, starting OLB gone, and that's all on a team that wasn't that good to start with. Russell has one pro bowl teammate and carried a poor roster to 11-5 and a playoff victory in the hardest division in football. I know MVP has just become "flashiest player award" but MOST VALUABLE gotta be Russell Wilson. GG packers tho.

Russell Wilson is our MVP. Without Wilson,Seattle would still have a record below .500 stemming from Holmgren's last season as a coach back in '08. Russell Wilson was the reason why Seattle won games this season. 11/16 wins was all contributed from Wilson. He never gives up and squeezes every ounce of toothpaste he can for the Seahawks to win and he did. Seattle would've been 1 or 2 -14 without Wilson in '19 and searching for a 1st rd draft pick like it was in '09 for Aaron Curry. We'll be back next yr with vengeance.

As much as I agree that Wilson should've been MVP, however your statement about Lamar being so lucky to just have a great team around him in his first couple of years is kind of irrelevant. I'm sure you know everyone who was on the Seahawks roster when russ came to Seattle, it just seems like a very similar situation both of them started in.

Tyler Lockett is very underrated
It's amazing to me what Russell Wilson can do with so little around him, this was by far his best season to date and it's heartbreaking because he had so little help thru most of the season-The defense was absolute trash and gave up so many points, injured garbage OL thru most of the season, lost one of his best TEs in Dissly, basically had Lockett and DK thru most of the season to throw to and not much else. The only thing Wilson really had to complement him was the running game with Carson and Penny and even then Carson was a fumbling machine this year while all 3 of the starting RBs went down towards the end-No running game in the playoffs and Wilson nearly won the game himself in GB.
Ik Lamar or *maybe* Derrick Henry will get mvp, but Wilson will always be mvp in my heart. He carries this team, especially this year, and without him, we will be hot garbage. He truly defines mvp. Let’s get it done next year, go hawks

The smart money to spend and build around is Wilson. I don't even think theres a qb better than Russell Wilson that's playing in the NFL right now. Patrick mahomes is a good qb but after this season with the huge contract kc sign him. Mahomes is going to have to carry the team without all those weapons and possibly offensive lineman.

Man I can't wait for next year. Hopefully we get a better pass rush and we improve our Offensive line. But next year I think Russ will learn from his mistakes. Carson and Penny are gonna be deadly assuming they're healthy *knocks on wood*. Metcalf is gonna get better. You got locket, Moore, Turner, Dissly, Hollister, Brown as pass catchers. Our defense can only get better as it was pretty bad this year. Russ should have gotten the ball back vs Green Bay but for the most part this was a great "retooling year." Next year I'm sure we are not gonna let teams like the Rams and Cardinals stop us from winning the division
We need a real pass rusher along Clowney who is a run stopper and definetly a 2nd Corner. Gimme Chris Harris in FA from Denver. If we get him and we can stay healthy, we are a Contender.

Varun Vemuri Homer was pretty good as a 4th string RB and playing his first game week 17, but if youre comparing to the previous games as well, Carson was probably a top 10 RB this year and Penny would be up there too if he got moe play time
