Good fairly small/medium repair kit-screwdriver bits with driver (with or without ratcheting), at least 2 sources of light 💡, glue, notepad with writing instrument, zip ties (you can connect several smaller zip ties into a larger zip tie), repair tape, needle with thread, small diameter wire, (I’d have a small metal hacksaw blade/wood and plastic blade), multitool, adjustable wrench, mirror (to see underneath), small diameter rope/cordage, extra batteries, and some basic tools I’m almost always grabbing to fix something.
Critically underrated video. Super glue is useful for first aid; sewing needles can be used for wound closure; duct tape can be used for everything, plus fire starting, etc.
I have had one like this made up for years ,it's so handy I end up grabbing this before my regular tools, biggest thing I can say remember to refill once in a while !
Good kit setup. You can always think of something else to add, but you've got most of the basics covered. This is an excellent addition to any backpack setup for survival, fishing, or a day at the range. There's hardly any situation I can think off where something like this would not be of benefit.
Oh, man... great video! I have most of those repair tools... but they are spread out and jumbled up across multiple "tool bags". You have convinced me to wrangle them all and get them into a smaller, organized bag! Thanks again!
Small magnifying glass, even one the fire starter fresnel lenses can help you see things you are trying to work on or read an instruction booklet/card with really small print.
Hey Don. Though I am sure that you have it elsewhere in your bug out bag or pack, I would suggest adding another firestarter or matches here. Having the ability to make fire is second only to water (I think), that I would risk the redundancy to have that also in your EDC Repair Kit. FWIW.
Thanks Paul, I agree that fire starters are vital to survival. I decided to leave this as a repair kit and have your fire kit handy in your Get Home Bag. But that's the beautiful thing about these kits. Very personal set ups to fit your needs.
You NEED to have a paint can opener in your pack. It works AMAZING for getting stuck cases out of your AR. I have had them get stuck and your fingernail ain’t gonna get it out of the chamber
I have quite a few .30 Cal ammo boxes that I use for various items for my PopUp Camper. On several of them, I wrap the handles with paracord. I don’t do this to every box because then they can’t be stacked.
Hi great video. I think it would be nice to list your items and maybe the brand names and links to make it easier to find them on-line or in stores. The list of things not mentioned if added you would need a larger bag.
my repair tools don't live in a single kit they're scattered in several kits my EDC multi-tool is the Victorinox Deluxe Tinker lives in my EDC bag I rolled my own flat duct tape old credit card or whatever I have a separate sewing kit with Super Glue & E6000 Glue Super Glue doesn't last long especially once opened E6000 takes a while to dry but is flexible Exotac Rip Spool - lives in my day-hike kit add another small standard embroidery needle 2 small safety pins and a straw wrapped with standard black thread Thread Straw put a small slice in the ends to retain the thread I also waxed my thread you might have to play with straw sizes... General Tools Awl the tip detaches, reverses & stores in the handle at one time there were a small & large size also Sears Craftsman did one but they're gone now I added one to the Otis/Gerber Soldiers Toolkit
Stay on course and on topic. He isn't talking about Drones or whatever they are over any part of the USA in this video. You are very special in the head and lacking intelligence.
I dunno. I remember when EDC--Every Day Carry--meant what you carry on your person at all times. I like the idea of this kit. But calling it EDC is just not right.
So the problem with your kit is that most hand tools are too big for that bag. This excludes many of the essential repair tools and greatly limits its usefulness.

I want one of those repair kits !👍
Add a small magnifying glass, small crescent wrench, paper clips, electrical tape and a few nails. (Nails can be used as a punch).
Spare buttons go well with the sewing kit
I would add a small crescent wrench. that is a nice setup for tools.
I have had one like this made up for years ,it's so handy I end up grabbing this before my regular tools, biggest thing I can say remember to refill once in a while !
Couple ft of small solder for electrical repairs . Great video
Im gonna need a tub dor all my specialty bags and movers blanket.
Fantastic idea, will probably set one up for the house
I have cornered the market on pre-owned twist ties - specifically bread bag twist ties.
I would add a small crescent wrench and one sided razor blades
Awesome..would Love to have one
Redundancy is great. My Chief taught me…Two is one, one is none. I go with this a lot with my equipment.
Don, a list of items would be a great addition to this excellent video
Don't worry about having extra lights, ALWAYS extra lights!

@@SensiblePrepper lighter is a tool. Melting cordage ends to avoid fraying, thawing a frozen padlock and many other things.
A mini torch
I hold fire above water, purely because fire can give you water easier than water can give you fire. 😂🤘
A magnifying glass for my old eyes is indispensable.
You need to add a "HAYWIRE KLAMPER" wire clamping tool !!!! Unbelievable versatility in a small package !!!

Mini bunji cords are quite handy
Those stretchy “pony tail” elastic bands make good “rubber bands”.

Another great idea
This is good thanks. A written list would be nice though. Keep up the good work!
A whistle...bless❤
SWEET WE GOT THE OLD HREEN SHED AGAIN LOL
A lighter I would think would be a must.
I would be redundant and put a few bandaids in the kit.
my repair tools don't live in a single kit
they're scattered in several kits
my EDC multi-tool is the Victorinox Deluxe Tinker
lives in my EDC bag
I rolled my own flat duct tape
old credit card or whatever
I have a separate sewing kit with Super Glue & E6000 Glue
Super Glue doesn't last long especially once opened
E6000 takes a while to dry but is flexible
Exotac Rip Spool - lives in my day-hike kit
add another small standard embroidery needle
2 small safety pins
and a straw wrapped with standard black thread
Thread Straw
put a small slice in the ends to retain the thread
I also waxed my thread
you might have to play with straw sizes...
General Tools Awl
the tip detaches, reverses & stores in the handle
at one time there were a small & large size
also Sears Craftsman did one but they're gone now
I added one to the Otis/Gerber Soldiers Toolkit
Good video, thanks for sharing, YAH bless !
multi-screwdriver with multiple bits in the handle.
Good video 👍 if only we could do the same with our life choices🤔
Why are drones flying all over New Jersey?

I would add a lighter
Now, which one of those bag kits did I put that thing in............?
Too much for me. I carried a leatherman and a torch lighter. The blue flame can be very useful both for repairs and making fire in adverse conditions.
Small little
