If you can pick it up. Try it you will wonder why you didn't use it 40 years ago. I was like you for 40 years also. Then I listened to Clinton. The last 25 years have been a joy. Take the draw reins off the palomino that's as bad as a curb bit.
I agree with a lot of what you said, but i don't agree with the flexing and bending. I did that for years, per Clinton, and it never gave me the results I wanted. Now, when my horses nose tilts in a direction, I want his feet going there also. My horses ride much better and turn around in their own tracks.
