I really want more people to appreciate him like other idols. Is it selfish if I want him at the top of the music industry. I know that he has many international fans and the love is showed when people stream his songs on spotifyand apple music but I also want his music videos to have an overwhelming views that's why I am waiting for his 2nd Album with R&B tune so that I can brag to other people who prefer pop or hip-hop music.

I prefer the melodic change Kyungsoo did too, the original wasn't bad, but Kyungsoo's change made it more impressive and fits the mood better.

That’s not an ad lib. Please use the terminology right. It’s called melismatic phrasing.
@@thehainote1082 bro adlib is an improvisation meaning changing notes usually sang in the studio version. the form of adlib he's using is melisma or you could say riffs and runs. i've learned my terminology
@@mohammadrayhanbaras9172 ad libs are added on top of the main melody line, this isn’t, it is a melody line that’s changed to be a different melodic pattern. This was not improvised either since it wasn’t made on the spot of a live performance, he changed the melody and recorded in the studio. Kyungsoo has been sticking with this melodic pattern in every live stage, so nope it’s improvised and it’s not ad lib either
@@thehainote1082 We don't know if he came up with the changed notes on the spot or not but if yes, then it's an improvisation. kyungsoo actually did it a few times but not in the video sent in the comments, there's this compilation video of kyungsoo improvising.

Impromptu vocals are strictly in the live performance settings, in which the singer make up a new melody line while the music is playing using their musicality, it’s supposed to be unrehearsed and spontaneous. The fact that they sang many many takes in the recording sessions mean this is not improvised. I am not taking away Kyungsoo’s vocal capabilities, cuz of course everyone knows he’s a super agile vocalist. What i’m saying is that you’re using the terminologies all mixed up. To reiterate your previous point, an impromptu vocal and an ad lib are two completely different terms. And “brave enough to do ad lib”? Don’t you see ad libs are all over every single commercial Kpop songs? It’s all the same formula, high note at the end of the bridge, then proceed to the final chorus with TONS of ad libs, necessarily or not, it is very situational and debatable
