Sunbathing was never issued in the main Siing-Sing catalogue. It came out on a fairly hard-to-find compilation called Never Lose That Feeling (Volume 2), which was on Club AC30 AC303032 in 2006.
Thanks for posting. Great to "hear from" her, albeit from 9 yrs. ago; I was (and still am) such a fan of her writing. "Deluxe" is like one of my two favorite songs ever. (Fun fact: Meriel (Barham) later went on to join Pale Saints).
Very interesting. Thanks for downloading it. Lush were a bit underrated. The band did sound quite different from the others around at the time. Pale saints/ Sleeper EchoBelly / Stereolabs were all getting gigs and attention from the music industry.
give a lot of credit to Emma and Miki to stick with it. listening to Emma, she has a since of direction which you need in the music business. I would like to see another album from the great band,"Lush" and keep producing great music Emma.
This girl has some great looks. Maybe because of people loving Miki and her super hot red hair, Emma is overlooked.... I love Emma's pic with body paint on. She is really a hottie!!! I think she "dresses down" where most girls "dress up" to improve their looks. She is just a hottie, period!
"Standards for an equal society," o please. That is arbitrary and based on a bunch of bed-wetters' feelings. They got ugly. It's just a fact. Deal with it. Doesn't take away from their contributions to popular music. But they haven't aged well. A shame, but it is what it is.
WOW! Never heard this version of Sunbathing. It's gorgeous. Big Lush fan here, from Gala onwards. Would love to get my hands on these demos!
You and me both.

Just a really nice sincere person. I buy most stuff she has made or been a part of. Very understated. Great presentation of herself.
Love Emma Anderson...
+Jodi Lester And now it's time to go and see her on stage with Lush, just like in the good old times.
Great to hear about how she wrote Deluxe. And how Lush found their manager.
Thanks for sharing this - from a huge Lush fan.

Could this be the only piece of interview of Emma Anderson without Miki available on TH-cam? That was really nice :)
Very interesting.

This is from April 21, 2005.
Thank you for the info! :)
I'd love to have the demo lyrics to Sunbathing, but my guess is they're lost.
Damn they played with Ministry
And DIDN’T GET KILLED 😳
when was this broadcast? I wonder if the wonderful SING-SING will ever make acomeback.

She's not looking so hot these days.
Stop discussing her appearance and concentrate on her musicianship, like you would any male musician.
Vermillion 303 Stop making up rules for us. Kevin Shields looks like a drunken bum. Feel better now?
J William Pope They're not my rules. They're standards for an equal society. If you want a dumbed down and unequal society, that says a lot about you.

Thought it was Ice T on Lollapalooza, not Ice Cube
