this stage break is about an exorcism, it is mainly inspired by the Korean movie “The Priests”. It has religious themes and doesn’t pretend to insult nor mock Catholicism. Many movies and other media have portrayed the religion in many different ways for decades now. Plus, they are just dancing, nothing more. Anyways, I liked it.

I know a lot of people are bashing this performance, but i’m not sure how much of a say they had in the concept, settings, etc. Please stop hating Leedo, Seoho, and Hwanwoong; they were just preforming. And if you are going to complain about this, please remember that 1theK probably didn’t know it would offend this many people. If you are going to be sensitive about this, I would just refrain from watching it instead of hating on Oneus. Please remember that this was supposed to be a nice release with their comeback and that they did respectfully step outside of the church for Unholy. Once again, it is JUST a performance with no double meanings, so please stop hating them for it.
Also, i’m sorry for typing a lot, but please stop telling them to delete it. It’s their form of art and they’re just trying to have fun. Remember that idols are humans too, and very sad things have happened in the past (with celebrities in general) and backlash. I'm catholic and while I found it a bit uncomfortable when I saw them wearing cassock, then thought about how during movies people wear them as well. They are portraying a character and I am partially okay with it (you all can disagree, I'm not forcing my opinion onto anyone) so I tried to see the video like it was a movie. Then they use a purple stole which it aligns with the concept of exorcism so there is a purpose. I don't find it disrespectful but questionable at least. The most controversial about this is the last song "Unholy" which I thought was more sexual but after checking the lyrics it's not as bad. I expected worse tbh.
Anyway I'm not offended by this but I won't deny your feelings and say you shouldn't be. But as a catholic I hope you can show other people what our religious stands up. I don't want people to believe catholics are easy to jump on the hate train, using our religion as an excuse to bring others down. We all make mistakes and nothing is white or black. They are not perfect nor are we.
I think Seoho, Leedo, Hwanwoong and the people involved didn't try to mock our religion or being disrespectful. Yes, the concept is questionable and is not for everyone. They (The whole industry) use our religion to make money out of it, using it as a concept but then again that is what art is for. If you don't like it don't consume it. Don't come hating on people who is trying to make a living and to achieve their dreams. They offended you so you want their downfall? don't be so immature and narciccistic. Scold them, educate them, help them be better if you care about the group if you can't find it in your heart to see beyond this to what is truly important then I don't know what else to say.
This only applies to the ones pointing their opinions is a nasty way though. I am all in for expressing your feelings if you felt angered by this video.

퇴마의식 중임에도 2:53 이런 여유로운 표정을 짓는 환웅이를 보면 환웅이 안에 든 악마의 기가 굉장이 센것 같음. 즉 상급 악마인 것! 그래서 호도즈 신부가 악마한테 휘둘리는 듯한 안무도 보이지만 긴 싸움끝에 결국!! (생긴 것만 보면 호도즈가 악마 3초만에 뿌실 수 있을 것 같음ㅋㅋㅋ)

3:37 ~3:48 하지만 계속된 사투 끝에! 결국 붉은 실을 찬 백댄서분들은 모조리 사라지고(악마의 힘이 약해짐) 2대 1로만 싸우는 모습이 보여요.
그러고 보니 이도의 하얀 망사?옷은 악마와의 힘들고 거친 싸움으로 뜯어지고 너덜해진 것처럼 보이네요! 그리고..!

I don't think they danced in front of the church it looks more like the side of the church for starters second what is so bad about dancing by a church... is it the song bc honestly your making more a a big deal about this than it is... the song may have questionable lyrics but whether you like it or not it is a popular song therefore it makes sense the company/ 1thek had them dance to it, it helps with views and exposure of the group. They didn't dance extremely sexual either... the video was made with the purpose of entertainment just because you did not find it enjoyable doesn't mean you have to bother everyone who does... take your problem directly to the company or 1thek... bothering fans who take the dance performance for what it is a dance performance gets you absolutely no where...
