I highly suggest playing the deck IRL. I've played Synchrons for literal years that I have memorized the combo lines and what-if scenarios of all of the weirdest hands, and is also considered a difficult-to-master deck. Pendulums can be equally as difficult to master with weird hands. I've played both DDD and Odd Eyes, and DDD is difficult to master combo-wise while Odd Eyes is a bit more straightforward but you gotta know what to search and how. Like I respect this DDD player for how he played into each of the three summoning mechanics; he's clearly familiar with the deck. By play-testing IRL you're physically performing the motions with your hands so you build into memorization the lines you need to take when transferring to MD, and can take it back when you make a mistake unlike in MD and Solo Mode. Don't want to buy the cards? Then print them out on paper (gotta do it anyways for MaxxC). You don't need to play against someone because that's what MD can do and at that point becomes variable to what opponent you're facing. But you should also play-test how you would play through 2 negations. A lot of test hands in my opinion is the key, and allows you to easily substitute cards right-then-and-there when you brick, which can influence your MD deck.

@@brkdream I just used my printer, black and white ink. Measured the dimensions of a card and pulled the card images from Wikipedia on a Word document. Then I just put 55 common cards I don't use anymore and sleeved them. I don't think your point is to spend too much money on this because Odd Eyes isn't that expensive besides the links because almost everything else has been reprinted in a structure deck (the power of a protag deck). Orica is the word for high-quality fake proxies, but would only consider that if you wanted to play at locals.

Eldlich isn't just good cause of floodgates and people forget that because of shit players like the opponent in this video lmao
Cards that can tribute themselves on the field *WHILE* Skill Drain is on the field to activate their effects are so annoying. The effect is activating while it's on the field, why should it being sent to the graveyard still allow it to go through?
