    I am an architect and I am about to move to north america to keep practicing my major there so I would like a vocabulary of structural parts of a building (like foundations, beams, pillars, plinths, braces, etc), and also the elements of electrical and hydraulic instalations (like wires, pipes, hydropump, water meter, feeder, breakers box, and others that i can't mention because i don't know how to mention them in english)

    Hi ! What is the definition of a "maisonette" in the UK ? In French, it is simply a small house. But I believe it has a different meaning in English. Thanks for your videos !

    • @LearningEnglishPRO
      @LearningEnglishPRO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Val! A maisonette apartment is a sort of cross between a townhouse and an apartment. It's technically an apartment, but it has features that are similar to a townhouse. Hope this helps you! Thanks for your question! 😊😊😊
